Shoviv Office 365 Backup Tool provides local backup and restoration of Microsoft 365 mailbox data. It supports user mailboxes, archive mailboxes, public folders, Office 365 groups, shared mailboxes and OneDrive content. The application exports data to multiple file formats including PST, MBOX, EML, MSG, MHT and HTML. Exported PST files remain fully compatible with all versions of Microsoft Outlook. Incremental backup functionality captures only new or modified items and prevents duplication. A scheduler enables periodic operations on daily, weekly or monthly intervals.

The restoration module permits import of PST, OST, OLM, MBOX, EML, MSG, ICS and vCard files into Office 365 mailboxes. A threshold setting controls the number of failed items permitted per mailbox before termination of a job. A configurable timeout applies to large items with durations expressed in minutes. The tool generates detailed reports after each operation that include folder names, item counts and lists of processed items. Log files are available for audit and compliance purposes.

The application functions as a standalone utility without requiring Microsoft Outlook installation. It supports both basic and modern authentication protocols.
