Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Skillvee overview
What is Skillvee?
Skillvee is a live work-simulation platform for hiring. It replaces the phone screen and first-round interview with a 60-minute session in which a candidate does a scoped version of the actual job while the screen is recorded.
How a session runs
1. Kickoff call. The candidate joins a live voice call with an AI hiring manager, briefed on the role and the challenge.
2. Working session. They open the materials, and message AI coworkers over chat to get the context, data or decisions they need. The information is deliberately distributed, so asking is part of the task.
3. Walkthrough call. They present what they built and defend the tradeoffs they made, live.
4. Report. Screen and voice are recorded throughout and scored against a rubric generated for that specific role and seniority.
What the platform does
- Generates the simulation from the role you are hiring for, including the challenge, the working materials and the AI coworkers who hold the missing context.
- Runs live voice conversations, so the kickoff and the walkthrough are real calls, not asynchronous video prompts.
- Records screen and audio for the full session.
- Scores how the candidate worked: communication, AI leverage, problem breakdown, collaboration, quality of output and time management, weighted for the role.
- Links every score to timestamped evidence in the recording, so a reviewer can verify a rating in seconds instead of rewatching an hour.
- Ranks a candidate pool on a single scorecard so finalists can be compared side by side.
- Supports work artifacts across role families: code repositories, datasets and spreadsheets, documents, and conversation-based work such as a sales discovery call.
AI policy
Candidates are allowed to use AI and are scored on how well they use it. There is no proctoring theatre and no attempt to detect model output, which is why the signal does not degrade each time a stronger model ships.
Reports and access
The full report exports as a PDF, so it attaches to a candidate record in whatever ATS you already use. Direct ATS integrations are not available yet. Growth and above add Sign in with Google and priority support, and Scale adds a dedicated success manager.
Roles and buyers
Skillvee is horizontal. It covers any white-collar role whose work happens on a computer, including sales, customer success, product, program management, data and engineering. It is bought by recruiters, talent leads and People leaders at Series A to C companies, typically someone running several open roles at the same time.
Plans start with a 14-day free trial and no credit card. An assessment is one candidate who completes a simulation; invitations are unlimited and free.
