SmarterMRP is a cloud-native operational planning layer built on the Mendix low-code platform, designed for mid-market and enterprise manufacturing companies operating across Electronics, Automotive, Food and Beverage, Life Science, Chemical, and Industrial Equipment industries. Deployed via public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud, or on-premises, it sits between existing ERP systems and the factory floor without replacing either. It centralizes operational master data including products, materials, bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturing routes, and supplier data into a single governed model, then connects that foundation to demand forecasting, work order creation, and procurement planning. Configurable business rules covering supplier preferences, batch sizes, material substitutes, and approval flows are managed independently of the ERP core, supporting clean-core ERP strategies and migration projects alike.

SmarterMRP structures the full planning cycle from demand origin to shop floor execution. Demand forecasting combines historical sales data, statistical methods, and commercial input across a shared planning horizon. Work orders are generated in alignment with materials, routes, batches, and factory constraints, while procurement planning converts net material requirements into purchase proposals directly tied to the orders they support. An intelligent BOM engine models variants, formulations, substitutes, and reusable batches with end-to-end traceability. Every action from initial demand through finished product is recorded and linked to operators, machines, shifts, and materials, providing a complete audit trail. Integration connectors are available for SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sage, Siemens Opcenter APS and MES, databases, Excel, and APIs. AI connectors are available and configurable per project but are not enabled by default; AI-based demand forecasting is a roadmap capability introduced in the 2025 development phase.
