Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Sourcery overview
What is Sourcery?
Sourcery is an AI-powered code review and security scanning tool that integrates with GitHub, GitLab, and development environments to automate pull request reviews across the full development workflow. It detects security vulnerabilities, logic errors, and edge cases, delivering inline comments, PR summaries, and status checks without requiring manual review initiation. Security scanning covers secrets, SAST, infrastructure-as-code, dependencies, and licenses in a single pass. PR commands allow developers to trigger summaries, review guides, and comment resolution directly from the pull request interface. Mermaid diagram generation from code and custom rules configuration via IDE settings extend the tool beyond standard review automation.
Deployment options span cloud-based integration with GitHub Cloud and GitLab Cloud, self-hosted support for GitHub Enterprise Server and self-hosted GitLab, and an IDE plugin for VS Code, PyCharm, and other editors. Enterprise self-hosted deployment is available on negotiated terms. Code reviews, security analysis, and IDE chat are powered by third-party large language models via Microsoft Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, and OpenAI APIs. Code is not stored on Sourcery servers, and LLM providers do not retain code beyond 30 days, with zero data retention options available via Anthropic on Pro plans. An API enables security findings to be pulled into external tools and pipelines.
Sourcery targets software development teams of all sizes, from individual open-source contributors to enterprise engineering organizations. A free tier covers open-source and student projects; paid plans apply to private repositories and teams. Per-seat pricing includes a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Enterprise plans include priority support and invoiced billing.
