Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Summate overview
What is Summate?
Summate is a cloud-based AI digest tool that consolidates content from newsletters, YouTube channels, blogs, RSS feeds, and 50+ additional platforms into a single personalized daily email. Designed for knowledge workers, investors, content marketers, and researchers who consume high volumes of online content, it processes all connected sources automatically and delivers AI-generated TLDR summaries and clickable key takeaways, reducing 2+ hours of daily reading to a single 10-minute digest.
Content is routed to Summate via a dedicated @inbox.summate.io forwarding address, compatible with Gmail, Outlook, Substack, and other email providers. AI agents extract key insights, action items, and summaries from every ingested item, surfacing relevant information without requiring visits to individual platforms. Multi-language output is supported across 11 languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Portuguese, Czech, Hungarian, and Japanese, allowing native-language consumption regardless of the source language.
Summate is available on a single subscription plan, billed monthly or yearly, with a 14-day free trial on annual plans. A Chrome Extension for on-page summarization and a Chat Mode for interactive natural-language Q&A against web content and YouTube videos are part of the product roadmap, currently being rebuilt for v2. User data is not used to train AI models.
