Table Export by SL Studio is a Chrome browser extension that detects and lists every HTML table on the active web page, displaying each table's dimensions and preview cells for quick identification. Users can copy any table to the clipboard for direct paste into Excel or Google Sheets as structured cells, or download it as a UTF-8 CSV file. The extension operates entirely on the user's device with no account requirement, no analytics, and no broad site permissions — table data is read only upon clicking the extension icon, and only within the active tab.

Table Export by SL Studio handles structural complexity that commonly breaks naive export tools: merged cells using rowspan and colspan attributes are expanded and filled across every row and column they span, keeping columns properly aligned in the output. Header rows, footer rows, and hidden rows are all processed. CSV output uses UTF-8 with BOM encoding so Excel correctly renders accented characters and non-Latin scripts without manual encoding adjustments. Cells whose content begins with =, +, -, or @ are escaped to prevent spreadsheet applications from interpreting them as formulas. Note that div-based virtual-scrolling data grids are not supported.
