Trayd overview

What is Trayd?

Trayd is a web-based construction ERP and back-office operating system built for specialty and trade contractors across the United States, including union contractors, prevailing wage contractors, and commercial subcontractors. The platform unifies payroll, certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance, union payroll, HR, onboarding, scheduling, field and labor tracking, job costing, and construction accounting in a single system, replacing spreadsheets, legacy payroll tools, and siloed platforms. Accessible via web, iOS, and Android, Trayd serves contractors of varying sizes managing field crews across multiple jobsites and states, with over 100 specialty and trade contractors currently using the platform.

Trayd covers the full construction back-office workflow. Construction payroll auto-captures labor hours, wage rates, and worker classifications from the field. Certified payroll reports are generated in three clicks with automated compliance checks. Union management includes wage card support, job title classifications, and benefits tracking. HR and onboarding allow workers to complete digital onboarding from a mobile device in under 10 minutes before a first shift, covering I-9 verification, tax setup, and certification uploads. Scheduling and dispatch offers drag-and-drop crew scheduling with real-time workforce allocation, while equipment scheduling assigns tools and machinery alongside crew schedules with double-booking prevention. Field data from daily shift reports flows directly into payroll and job costing without re-keying. Job costing delivers real-time project-level P&L, WIP schedules, retainage, and lien waivers, with labor costs posting to job cost codes automatically at payroll processing. Construction accounting covers the general ledger, financial statements, accounts payable and receivable, and cash management. Incoming invoices are parsed by AI, with costs automatically connected to the corresponding job and flowing into WIP, AIA billing, and the P&L. Trayd integrates with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Vista, and Procore.

Trayd consolidates back-office operations into one system with transparent, per-seat-free accounting pricing, so financial visibility is not rationed by seat count. Documented customer results include weekly payroll workload reduced from 12-16 hours to under 2 hours. By keeping worker classifications, wage rates, and payroll aligned across the platform, Trayd reduces exposure to Department of Labor penalties and certified payroll compliance risk.
