Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Unsupported Software Finder overview
What is Unsupported Software Finder?
Go into the Cyber Essentials renewal, the Essential Eight review or the annual technology review with every end-of-support date already sourced and dated. Unsupported Software Finder is aimed at the people who run the estate: infrastructure and IT operations leads, and engineers at managed service providers.
You paste the software inventory your endpoint or asset management tool already exports. All it needs is the product and its version on each line; extra columns such as installs, device group, owner or exception are picked up when they exist.
Each line is set against the as-at date: already out of vendor support, on extended support only, due to lapse before your assessment, due to lapse inside your window, or still supported. Each row shows the date, its source and the date that source was read, with a link to the vendor's notice. Ten findings in a fixed order name the lines and the requirement from Cyber Essentials, the Essential Eight, CIS Controls v8, PCI DSS, NIST SP 800-53 or ISO/IEC 27001 you selected; answers go into the upgrade plan and the assessor summary.
There is no agent to deploy and no network scan. Anything missing from the lifecycle record is reported as unknown instead of being assumed fine, and the finder does not tell you whether you pass.
Eight lines are free to try with no sign-up. A single seat on Solo is USD 29 monthly, and Team, for everyone in the organisation, is USD 199 monthly.
