VenueCOI overview
What is VenueCOI?
VenueCOI helps wedding and event venues make sure every outside vendor is properly insured before the event, without chasing certificates by email or checking them by hand.
How it works:
1. Set your insurance requirements once: general liability limits, additional insured wording for your venue, liquor liability for bars and caterers, and any other coverage you require.
2. Create an event and add its vendors. Each vendor gets a simple upload link. No account or login is needed on their side.
3. When a vendor uploads a certificate of insurance (ACORD 25 PDF or a photo), VenueCOI's AI reads it and checks limits, policy dates against the event date, additional insured status and liquor liability.
4. If the certificate falls short, the vendor gets a clear, specific list of what to fix that they can forward to their insurance agent. VenueCOI follows up until a passing certificate is in.
5. Your dashboard shows every event and vendor as approved, pending or needs a fix, so your team knows who is covered before load-in.
