Voicemaker overview

What is Voicemaker?

Voicemaker is a cloud-based, browser-accessible text-to-speech platform that converts typed or uploaded text into downloadable audio files across MP3, WAV, OGG, AAC, and OPUS formats. With a library of 2,000+ AI voices spanning 130+ languages, the platform serves individual creators, educators, developers, and enterprises across media and entertainment, e-learning, broadcasting, audiobook production, and software development. Audio output is delivered at studio-grade 48 kHz, 16-bit PCM resolution. File input supports PDF, DOC, and TXT formats, and generated files sync across devices via cloud save and file history.

Voicemaker offers multiple AI voice model families to address varied production requirements. ProPlus Expressive supports prompt-driven emotional nuance, tonal variation, and ambient sound effects via inline tags across 70+ languages. ProPlus Turbo delivers sub-100ms response times for real-time applications such as conversational AI, IVR, and chatbots. ProPlus High-Res targets studio-quality output with emotionally rich voices in 30+ languages. Pro2 provides enhanced phonetic clarity and emotional expression for Indian languages, while Pro1 covers standard neural multilingual output. High-volume workloads are served by default AI engines (AI1 through AI6 and HashCode series). Voice cloning generates a custom AI voice from as little as one minute of audio. Speech-to-speech conversion transforms an uploaded voice recording into a selected AI voice.

The platform includes a multi-track editor for managing, rearranging, and exporting multiple audio tracks; a VoxFX library with 100+ vocal effects; a pronunciation editor for custom term handling; voice profiles; SSML support; and adjustable speed, pitch, volume, pause, and emphasis controls. Subtitle export is available in SRT and TXT formats, and ID3 tag embedding is supported. A REST API exposes TTS, STS, and STT endpoints with customizable key limits and expiration settings for integration into external applications and workflows. Pricing is credit-based and counted on conversions rather than downloads, with a free plan available and customizable enterprise tiers for high-volume needs.
