WorkPaid is a cloud-based web platform built for UK sole traders and small trade businesses in the construction and trades sector, including builders, electricians, plumbers, and other contractors. It covers the full quote-to-payment workflow: creating and sending quotes, collecting deposits, managing milestone-based or single-payment structures, and issuing auto-generated invoices. No installation is required. Payments are processed via Stripe and paid out directly to the tradesperson's bank account; the platform does not hold funds at any point.

WorkPaid supports three payment structures per quote: single-payment, deposit plus final payment, or multi-stage milestone payments. Mid-job amendments can be added for additional work, and a cancellation policy can be attached to quotes and presented to customers at the point of acceptance. Quote acceptance is recorded with the customer's name, timestamp, and IP address, creating a digital audit trail. Payment collection supports card payments (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) and open banking via Pay by Bank, with an optional Instant Payout to bank within minutes. Late-payment reminder emails, customer review collection, and a CSV-exportable earnings dashboard round out the feature set.

WorkPaid operates on a pay-per-transaction model with no monthly subscription fee. The optional platform fee can be passed through to the customer, keeping costs flexible for small operations. The CSV export from the earnings dashboard is compatible with MTD (Making Tax Digital) bookkeeping software, supporting compliance requirements for UK trade contractors.
