Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Yavy overview
What is Yavy?
Yavy is a cloud-based semantic knowledge layer that indexes website and documentation content, making it queryable by AI assistants through CLI, portable Skills packages, or per-project MCP server endpoints. Content is crawled automatically via sitemaps, robots.txt, and recursive discovery, then chunked by semantic structure and embedded with vector search. Results are returned as clean JSON optimized for LLM consumption, grounding AI assistant responses in current, verified source content rather than outdated or hallucinated information.
Designed for software development teams, developer tools companies, and organizations maintaining structured web-based documentation, Yavy supports integration with AI tools including Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, OpenCode, and ChatGPT, with planned support for Slack, Discord, and Microsoft Teams. GitHub, Notion, and Confluence integrations are also available. Each indexed project receives a unique MCP server endpoint hosted on Yavy infrastructure, enabling real-time AI assistant connections. Skills packages, generated via CLI or Claude Code plugin, are portable offline knowledge files that embed directly into a project with no runtime server dependency.
Access control is handled via OAuth 2.1 and Bearer token authentication, with API key management through the dashboard. Authenticated requests support up to 1,000 requests per minute. Automatic re-indexing keeps indexed content current as source documentation changes, removing ongoing manual maintenance. Both public and private projects are supported, and all plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee.
