What is Ziperase Command Center?
Ziperase Command Center is network data erasure software for ITAD providers and enterprise IT teams. One operator erases more than 500 laptops, desktops and servers at once from a single host and controls the whole operation from one web interface.
Devices boot from the Command Center over PXE and erase with no monitor, keyboard or mouse attached. Devices without PXE boot from a USB stick or optical drive and join over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Each wipe can be started from the device itself or from Command Center, and configurations can run hardware tests and erasure automatically. One installation on the built-in Linux operating system sets up the PXE server, report database, licensing and remote control of erasure clients.
Live Sessions shows the status, progress and time remaining for every connected device, with remote start and stop, operator messages and full remote control. Configurations set the erasure method for each drive type, drive health limits, hidden area removal, hardware tests and mandatory extra fields, and apply them to every device on the network. Drives secured with ATA passwords or TCG PSIDs unlock automatically from a shared password list.
All drives are erased using the firmware or overwrite method that suits their type, with hidden areas removed first and a sample read back to confirm the result. Every device receives a tamper-proof PDF certificate recording the erasure method, verification outcome and full system and storage details. Reports are stored in one central database, searchable by serial number, and export as PDF, CSV or JSON. A dashboard charts pass and fail results by week, month, quarter or year, and your company logo can be added to every certificate.
Licenses sit on the Command Center server and top up automatically from the Ziperase Customer Portal, with no dongles or hardware keys, and reports sync to the Portal for a unified view of every deployment. Command Center integrates with Makor ERP, RazorERP and IQ Reseller, and offers a REST API, read-only database access and webhooks. It also works with Ziperase Array Erase, Mobile Erase and Autopilot Detection.
Command Center holds ADISA Product Assurance Level 5 and Common Criteria EAL2 certification and erases to NIST SP 800-88 R2 and IEEE 2883:2022, supporting compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS and FERPA.
