Microsoft Teams Keeps the Team Together

Nathan L.:                                             Hi, my name is Nathan. I'm a Frontend Developer and Designer. I've been using Google Meets, but have added on Microsoft teams, and if you want more reviews like this, click the link below.
                                                       I use both of these softwares just to communicate. It's all about communication, especially with Google Meets. Tend to talk to clients a lot more in face-to-face meetings. Of course, that synced up with Gmail and all of the other communication apps, and Teams is sort of the same way. They have a live real time communication through chat through a lot of the various teams throughout a company. So it's all about communication for both of these apps.
                                                       Microsoft Teams I feel is best for inner communication within a company. You can set up a lot of different categories and set sub team within your company that you can communicate with, jump on video chats, voice chats, and everything in between, including file sharing with the rest of the Microsoft Suite. Teams is really good for inside your organization and communicating within that organization.
                                                       Google Meets on the other hand I use definitely more for outside of the organization communication; communication with clients, because it's synced up to Google Calendar. Usually people have Gmails that you can connect to email with, set up chats, events, and all kinds of stuff within the Google Suite. So I really love Google meets for definitely freelance or any other communication with clients outside of your organization.
                                                       Getting started with both of these softwares, I would say Google Meets is much easier to get started. Everyone seems to have a Gmail or a Google account. It's attached to your suite. It's for free to start and it's really simple to use and get rolling really, really quickly. Teams on the other hand is a little bit harder to set up. Definitely one of the things that's better and gets better as time goes on, but making sure that you have the right licensing for your company and for the amount of people that you have. And then also setting up all the organization within Teams does take a lot of time. So I would say that Google Meets is a lot easier to just get started and Teams is a investment, but can work really well for bigger organizations.
                                                       Yeah. When I'm looking for a communication software like Teams or Google Meets or any other software, it really comes down to integration for me. A lot of these video chat softwares or communication softwares are really good and they have a lot of very similar features, but when picking one for my business, I love one that's not only very easy to use, but one that is integrated with a lot of other services, including file sharing, and just is stable especially with video chat. Can it work on all of these different devices and with everyone that you need to chat with? So I would definitely look at integrations when thinking about which software to use and which I guess, what does your business use? What tech does your business use already and does your chat software work cohesively with what you already have.
