The site could use some tweaking for a little more ease of use.

I initially used an even-lower cost version of OneHub that piggy-backed off DropBox.   While the interface was good (the same as the standard version), it did not work well on the backend, frequently disconnecting from the Dropbox storage at inopportune moments.  

I researched the moderate cost end of the virtual data room market carefully when I first started using OneHub about five years ago.  

I wish there was a little more customization - especially within their data store rooms.

SSO is supposed to be a secure and simple login method, not one that requires distributing the same key to all users so they can manually import it when needed.

The "streaming" functionality of lucidlink does not perform well working with high resolution/data rate files even in a 1 Gb - 10 Gb synchronous fiber internet connection, not to mention a typical consumer internet connection.  

To ensure the safety of their data, we had to work closely with them to explain the security procedures that were put in place.

Lucid is great for video editorial collaboration work, as editors, assistants, and producers can have one location to access all media production and project files whenever they need.

I won't use it for every project, but I will be using it when I do need to share in the cloud collaboratively.

Rarely, but on occasion, it disconnects on its own, causing an “improper shutdown” and loss of some work.

Proxy workflows and strategic pinning of data is the solution but can require large local storage to accommodate working with single files over 250 GB each.

We were onboarding editors using Lucid for the first time right when the system went down and we lost a lot of their work and their trust.

Marketing "without ever downloading" is completely misleading and false - data has to upload and download to be viewed and "streaming" is not practical in many workflows.   When working with professional media files (RAW, R3D, ARRI, etc) that are very large (80 - 400 GB per file), it's very convenient to have the files in one place, but they will need to get downloaded at some point.

However i think i would have named our folder different , easier , its hard to reemmber our filespace name.

The major downside to Lucid is its heavy dependence on strong internet connection, so make sure to upgrade or test your connection on Lucid before their free trial ends.

I was skeptical at first , however our in house server was getting older and we do not have full time IT in house.

Overall going from classic to new lucid link has been a breeze and I believe with a few minor changes the service can be phenomenal.
