Onehub is great because Onehub works. Onehub is pretty much your one-stop shop for all of your file sharing needs. Onehubs customer support is also stellar.
What I disklike the most about this product is that it seems old. Now with Google and their many user apps (Docs, Slides) and Google drive, what are completely free to use and store things in, the cost of Onehub seems pointless.
Easy way to provide information confidentially.
Intuitive to use. No need for tutorial or instructions.
No cons - it works fine and the few times I needed support it was there.
Likelihood to recommend: 9/10
our only complaint is that it is not friendly to provide access to people who need to allow someone else - and the reporting who has accessed is not helpful
ability to securely share files - we are a forensic accounting firm that has a need to share sometimes large confidential files
providing access is tricky with the link and once someone has access they don't get invited again and claim they don't have a log in

For this type of product, I would call the overall experience excellent. I can’t think of any other package that I have not considered abandoning within five years, other than perhaps GSuite. I have never had downtime and 5he system meets our requirements.
I researched the moderate cost end of the virtual data room market carefully when I first started using OneHub about five years ago. It stood out from the competition at the time - and still does. It has solid VDR features, including access tracking, watermarking, notifications, access restrictions. It all works flawlessly. If a client user is already on someone else’s OneHub Implementation, they can use their existing account with the access added.
I have only had two issues ever. One is that notifications would sometimes go out to users (sell-side clients and buyers) that I did not realize. I got that corrected. I initially used an even-lower cost version of OneHub that piggy-backed off DropBox. While the interface was good (the same as the standard version), it did not work well on the backend, frequently disconnecting from the Dropbox storage at inopportune moments. They dropped that version which, I suppose, was a technical challenge. I switched to the standard version and have been very happy. The issues we had were totally unique to the Dropbox version.

Excellent, and well worth the cost.
OneHub makes it easy to organize our virtual data room and to constantly revise it. The platform is also very good at managing user access at different levels. Of particular value are the daily emails that I get whenever someone accesses the data room and what they look at; it is a great way to gauge an investor's interest and focus. If I'm not seeing an investor accessing the data room, I know that they are not that interested, and vice versa. It's also a good way of keeping existing investors engaged because they get notice of new uploaded docs and visit the data room.
Some outside users have had trouble accessing the data room from their work emails, and I've had to send them access via their personal emails. I think this is caused by firewall restrictions on their end.

Onehub is an enterprise file sharing service that helps businesses securely share and control files in the cloud. Both small and large businesses can use Onehub as a one-stop hub to easily store, organize and share files. Onehub’s shared environments, called Workspaces, make it easy to organize information and control exactly what invited users can see.
All types of files are supported in Onehub and the appearance can be easily customized to suit users’ requirements. Robust security features help to ensure files can be accessed securely from any device while being protected from any possible threats.
Onehub offers the ability to upload hundreds of files simultaneously. All file types can be previewed directly in a browser, making this the ideal solution for any type of business activity. Onehub applies no limit to the number of times a file can be shared or downloaded and offers activity tracking on all files, with administrators being able to view all activity on shared files. Onehub offers three different pricing plans, making it easy to choose the right one that fits organizations’ requirements. Bespoke plans are available upon request.
Onehub has developed a secure and easy file sharing platform that provides a generous set of unique features. Onehub’s mobile and web applications allow you to access, organize, and share your content from multiple devices with confidence.
Onehub’s Workspace’s are like folders, with the added benefits of messages, comments and dashboards. Workspaces can be customized to fit in with an organization’s branding, and folders can be used to organize content in the way that works best for users. No tags or labels are required and files can easily be moved and/or copied across into another Workspace. Files can be edited and even created within Onehub.
While any size of business can use Onehub, mid-size businesses of about 50-300 staff members would benefit best from Onehub’s unique feature set. Some of Onehub´s customers include Meetup, the Seattle Seahawks, and Limeade.
Onehub’s simple drag and drop function means organizations can easily upload hundreds of files simultaneously. When thousands of files need to be uploaded, Onehub’s FTP gateway or Sync features can be used.
Onehub Sync creates a special folder on your computer that allows you to keep all of your content up-to-date. Any changes made inside the Onehub folder will automatically be uploaded to the cloud, and vice versa. This runs in the background, allowing access to files even when working offline. Users can select which Workspaces to sync and easily organize them directly from the file explorer.
Onehub eliminates the need for additional software by collaborating directly with Google’s document platform, Google Drive, to create and edit files from inside Workspaces. User friendly interfaces make document previewing and sharing both easy and secure.
Users can simultaneously collaborate on the same documents with other users that have access to that particular file, all from within Onehub. When the last editor saves the document, it becomes the current file version for everyone with access to that file.
With Onehub’s White Label feature, Onehub allows the brand to be the focus. Organizations can upload their company logo and choose colors for the Workspaces to match their brand. Individual Workspaces can be customized or all Workspaces across the entire account and all mentions of Onehub can be removed to create a cohesive look. This feature is an additional $100 per month on all plans except Enterprise, which includes White Label at no additional fee.
Onehub offers Cloud collaboration on-the-go, with mobile and desktop applications allowing users to access, organize, and share content from multiple devices securely. Onehub offers apps for iPhone, iPad, Android and Onehub Sync for Windows.
Files can be shared securely with others by inviting them to a Workspace, folder or file. Users receive an email with a single click to set up a password and access the content. Access is easily controlled by administrators with role-based sharing permissions. The role is set by the administrator when the user is invited to a Workspace, folder or file and can be changed at any time by an Administrator or Moderator. Secure links can also provide direct access to any folder or file without requiring a Onehub account, with the option of setting a secure password for the link and expiration dates for added security.
Onehub allows users to view high quality previews of files without having to download and open another application. Previews make it easy to work with files in the cloud and give more control to administrators, allowing them to protect the original document by giving users view-only rights.
Previews are supported on most file types and offer a full screen view for PDFs. Comments and associated tasks can be created and added while previewing a file for even greater collaboration between team members.
Integration with other apps is another standout feature of Onehub. Onehub integrates easily with Dropbox and Dropbox users can now use Onehub as a layer onto their Dropbox files in order to access Onehub features, such as sharing permissions and custom branding.
The integration with Google Drive is also a significant feature. This allows Onehub users to edit and create Google docs within the Onehub interface.
Using these integrations, businesses can minimize the need for additional applications and maximize collaboration and file sharing control.
Onehub offers three pricing structures for organizations to choose from. The cheapest plan, Onehub for Dropbox, is $9.95 per month. Next is the Team plan, offered at $29.95 per month, then the Business plan at $99.95 per month. Onehub also offers an Enterprise plan which they provide customized quotes for. All plans include unlimited Workspaces, with the Business plan including all but white label & custom domain features within the monthly cost. The Enterprise plan offers the full suite of features.
