                                                       The main problem that these products help me solve is simply the ability to present information in an understandable, simple, and flexible format.
                                                       The real choice that many people make between Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint is which ecosystem they're already in. Are they Google Docs people or are they Microsoft Office people? But I think one of the main things that stands out for me is that Microsoft PowerPoint is more used around the world, is a bigger ecosystem. More people use it. It's a more standard format. So that's a big plus for Microsoft PowerPoint. The other thing is that you can do really good things that not many people know sometimes by using the PowerPoint canvas to easily make and save images.
                                                       Google Slides is great for very quick and simple presentations. It's not got all the bells and whistles of Microsoft PowerPoint, but that might not be needed. And especially if the main use is for your internal team, rather the next download partners or clients, then Google Slides can be a great, simple product to have in your software tool set.
                                                       I've been using Microsoft PowerPoint for much longer than Google Slides. So if I remember right, there's a bit of a learning curve at the start of PowerPoint. Certainly Google Slides is a simpler tool. But also, I think once you have used one of the tools, it's much easier to use the other. So as Google Slides, shall we say modeled heavily from Microsoft PowerPoint when it was introduced, it was a pretty simple learning curve.
                                                       The main considerations for this type of software are to reiterate which office suite do you tend to use most in your business and which type of office suite do your clients and customers use? That is a very important decision. Then the other one is how advanced are you? Do you need all the bills and whistles of PowerPoint? Do you need the ability to do some sort of series animations that maybe only 5% of people will ever use? And then finally, there is a cost issue as well because Google Docs, certainly for home, small business use is pretty much free. It's certainly got a free tier. Whereas Microsoft PowerPoint is part of the Office suite in Windows, and that comes with a cost. So, that's the other thing to think about.

The one that I use it for the most right now is to broadcast slides in our lobby, in our rooms, to showcase all of the things that we're doing to our customers and patients.
			                                                       The best thing about Google Slides is the user interface. It's super easy. You don't need any training. Everything just kind of makes sense and then the other really big benefit of Google Slides is that it integrates with all the other Google products. So, if you're already using Gmail or Google Drive, it's super easy to integrate it and use all the other elements that you already have to create presentations in Google slides.
			                                                       It's hard to pinpoint exactly what I like about PowerPoint, but I would say that it just is familiar. It's what we all grew up using, so it's super easy to feel comfortable in PowerPoint.
			                                                       I think it's easy to get started and acquainted with both of the platforms. PowerPoint, something that as a millennial, I've been using in school since like fourth grade but Google has completely taken over the market, so if you already have Gmail, or you already have Google Drive, or you're already sharing files, getting started with Google Slides is super easy. I mean, it might take another second to set up rather than PowerPoint already being installed on your computer for the most point, but I would say both of them are super easy to open up and get started in.
			                                                       The biggest consideration that I went through when choosing Google Slides is, like I said, I've already been using Google products and so being able to get to it quickly, have all of my elements, all of my saved folders and photos in that one platform, makes it so much easier. Plus, my organization is a big Google user, so being able to share it easily and access it through different spaces is really important.                                                       I use this software for sharing research findings and for collaborative presentations.
			                                                       I love that Google Slides is collaborative. I love that it updates in real-time, which means that it's just very easy to add collaborators. It's easy to edit, it's easy to share, and it's easy for people to open as well.
			                                                       I like Microsoft PowerPoint because you don't need internet access to be able to use that software. It works pretty well for private work, but it's a bit complicated to share and it's tricky for collaboration where you need changes updated very quickly. It just has a lot of back and forth that slows the process down.
			                                                       So with PowerPoint, it was pretty easy to start using this. I was familiar with the basic functions and the basic setup of Microsoft software applications. With Google Slides, the basic functions were very apparent. The interface was always the same, so I always knew what I was dealing with. And so it was really easy to get started. Just knowing where things were, the interface wasn't constantly updating like the Microsoft PowerPoint was because it was a software. So Google Slides interface always stay the same. I always know where things were and how to access them.
			                                                       Okay. My top considerations for choosing a program or an application like this is one, shareability. So how easy is it for me to share with collaborators and also for me to share with stakeholders? And for that process to be simple and quick. The next thing is ease of saving work. I'm always afraid of losing my work so I want to make sure that even when I forget, that someone else is doing the work to save it consistently to make sure I don't lose anything. And the last thing is ease of use. So how easy is it for me to get started and to use the application all the way through?

In my workplace we usually use this for not just working but also teaching and research collaboration tools in our universities. And I also administer this application for staff faculties, researchers, and students. 			                                                       Google Slides is actually great for business presentation, presenting process workflow, network representation, just like the Microsoft PowerPoint. However, what's best about Google Slides is, it's available to everybody. It's free to use. Most people have a Google account so as long as they have their Google account they can access to Google Slides anywhere in their machine. Even if it's a expensive machine to a very inexpensive machine they can still use Google Slides.
			                                                       Microsoft PowerPoint, on the other hand, is also great for business presentation, kiosk display slideshow for billboards. But the most important thing about Microsoft PowerPoint is that Microsoft PowerPoint not only has the web application but also desktop application. Now the desktop application has a very powerful function, more powerful than Google Slides in terms of presenting slides embedded with analytical tools like Excels and other application stuff into the same application.
			                                                       Each one of these softwares are equally easy to use. They both have fun icons and instruction that very easy to follow and the menu is very user friendly. And for most of people that I work with they have very easy access to tutorials when they search online for both Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint.
			                                                       So yeah, the top consideration for when looking for this type software is, first I encourage the user to know what they want, to understand their needs. If they want a hardcore presentation with all the advanced functionality then go for Microsoft PowerPoint but if it's a basic use presentation go for Google Slide. In terms of affordability, most of the people that I work with, students, researchers, or staff, they will go for Google Slide first because it's very easy and it's free to use. And it's also very accessible.
			                                                       Now, the last thing is the functionality. If they want a better functionality then Google Slides probably will fall short as compared to Microsoft PowerPoint. So if they want something for students, business students, MBA, statistics or mathematician, or a staff from a public policy, I would really strongly recommend them to use Microsoft PowerPoints.

			                                                       As a pastor, predominantly I use PowerPoint and Google Slides, both in teaching and in my preaching ministry. I use PowerPoint a little more often in the Sunday services because of software conflicts, but I've found that Google Slides works really well in a smaller classroom environment.
			                                                       I think Google Slides is best for, again, for teaching environments, for putting together a very simple teaching package or presentation. It allows me to connect easily with Chromecast, which I do use as wireless as a wireless connection and so it allows me to stand in the classroom and usually with a tablet allows for also mobility throughout the class instead of standing behind a lectern or a podium.
			                                                       Microsoft PowerPoint for me is best because probably most for familiarity with the product and it seems to be a little better in editing software or editing presentations. It's a little more fluid and flexible. And so especially if I'm doing a complex presentation, I would tend to go for Microsoft PowerPoint to use to put that presentation together.
			                                                       Getting started with Microsoft PowerPoint is quite simple. If you're an Office user, the program's there and ready to use. At the click of a button you're up and running, and they have a variety of templates and color schemes that work really well together so you don't have to overthink or be concerned about how your presentation would look. Google Slides, it's a good program if you're looking to go ahead and do something that is really more web-based. Again, templates and that are there and you can use those as well. It connects into your Google Docs programs. It's pretty easy to get up and running with.
			                                                       My top consideration for presentation software, whether it be Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides, is flexibility of use, the ability to bring things together quickly and seamlessly, the ability to go ahead and have my presentations, whether I want to do them online or on a computer streaming them or hardwired is very important to me, because I never know what kind of environment I'm going to step into. I can't plan on everything being necessarily wireless and then walk into a presentation where all of a sudden I have to be able to hook up something to run what I have so I need the flexibility of both.

It's great for storing items in the Cloud really easily, no need to download or upload, and it's great for creating really sleek presentations, using some really nice templates, that can be found anywhere on the web from a ton of free open source creators and create beautiful presentations.
			                                                       Microsoft PowerPoint is good for working with people who aren't as experienced with newer technology, so it's a really common system that is really easy to use with people who maybe have different backgrounds and are used to different programs. It's also good for creating transparent PNG images out of photos that aren't transparent and have a background that you want to remove.
			                                                       It's super easy to get started with Google Slides because there is like in-app tutorials. There's little pop-ups that show you how to get started. There's also built-in help articles. You're already on the web, so it's really easy to find information, and the whole program is designed to be super intuitive, basic, and easy to use. It's used by kids in school. It's used by all kinds of people and it's just a breeze to use.
			                                                       PowerPoint is also not too difficult to get started using. It's a little bit more difficult because it has less built-in help functions and there's a lot more complex functionality that most users won't use, but can kind of get in the way and be a little bit confusing your first time getting started, but neither of them is particularly difficult.
			                                                       So the top things that I and my organization consider when we're searching for software like this is, first and foremost, price. We love to be able to save money whenever we can. Second is usability across multiple platforms. Can one person have the program on multiple devices that they're using? Can multiple users be collaborating at the same time? And do we need to pay extra money for additional licenses for these products?

Simple Alternative to Power Point

I am a Pastor and I was using Microsoft PowerPoint but we have and I have recently switched over to Google slides and for more reviews like this click below. I use a lot of slide projection mostly for teaching and I was using it because I like to project images and text on a screen when I'm teaching a class because it's important to me that my students can follow along with what I'm teaching. So we use a lot of projection software in the classroom. Google slides allows me to access content on any different computer that I'm using, using my Google account, so that I can access material when it's stored in the cloud. This allows my material to be very portable. I don't have to have a single computer in front of me. I can access it in the cloud.
                                                       It also allows me to easily collaborate with other people in putting together presentations. We can all be working on the same product at the same time and it's also an easy product to use. It's very intuitive. It's pretty easy to figure out the basics of how to use it. It only takes a few minutes to learn how to master the product. Microsoft PowerPoint is a very, it's a good product because it has a lot of functionality. There's a lot of different tools that you can use that are a part of Microsoft PowerPoint. Many of them that actually Google slides might not necessarily have and so if you're looking for a more in depth product, Microsoft PowerPoint does offer a lot of functionality. So getting started with Microsoft PowerPoint takes some doing because there is all that functionality. It takes a little longer to learn, especially some of the more advanced features to it.
                                                       On the other hand, Google slides, it is an easier product to use. It's easier to learn than Microsoft PowerPoint. So it was pretty easy once I started transitioning over, it was pretty easy to make that switch over to using Google slides. My main consideration when looking at and comparing software, I needed something that would be easy to use. I don't have a lot of time to figure out how to troubleshoot and to use all the different aspects of a product. I need something that I can be up and running with and using it fairly quickly and fairly easily. But I'm also looking for something that is going to put together a quality presentation. I want something that's going to be aesthetically pleasing so that it will engage the students that I'm teaching and it will keep their attention and be easy for them to follow.

If I have a new product that I'm introducing to them, I like to make a presentation with my Google Slides to present it to them and to send it to them for their review.
                                                       I find Google Slides easier to use because it's incorporated in with my email. It's easy to send from Google Slides versus with PowerPoint. I would have to save it to my computer and then download it or attach it to send to my employees.
                                                       What I did like about PowerPoint, they seemed to have a better variety of clip art at the time to use when I was making my presentations. With Google Slides, you do not have to install it in your computer. It's already there in your web browser. Whereas with PowerPoint, I had to install it in my computer. So I found Google Slides more beneficial for that reason alone.
                                                       My top consideration when I'm looking at this kind of software would be something that I do not have to download and install in my computer. I love the fact that Google Slides is already there in the browser. It's less steps you have to go through to be able to use the program.

Google Slides is quite easy if you're already used to Google Suite and familiar with other products like Google Docs or Google Sheets, and it has some built in helpful tools. Microsoft PowerPoint is a little bit more difficult to get into if you're not familiar with it, but there's still plenty of helpful tools to use and it will feel very familiar to Microsoft users.

                                                       Us personally, we found Google Slides was a much better fit for us because we used the Google G Suite. So, enabling us to access all of our slides in our presentations on the Cloud was a much easier thing and a much easier solution for us than the Microsoft PowerPoint.
                                                       I think if you've got the Microsoft Suite of tools, then Microsoft PowerPoint is the perfect presentation software tool for you. It just so happened that because we moved to G Suite, we found the compatibility with the Google Slides just much easier with all the other Google Tools. I think if you're using Microsoft Tools, Microsoft PowerPoint is good for presentations too.
                                                       Well, for each of them you'll need a license. So, it depends again how your organization is set up in purchasing those licenses. We signed up for a G Suite account for multiple users. There's no software to download. There's nothing to install. It's literally all accessed from the Cloud. So, accessing G Suite and Google Slides is really, really simple. I believe with Microsoft 365, that's the same sort of solution. It's a Cloud-based option, so there's nothing to download. There's no discs to load. It's a really simple process, and it really just depends on your familiarity with the Microsoft Tools or the Google Tools.
                                                       Our top considerations when looking for presentation software is something that we can use on the move quite quickly. So, if we need to go to a client premises, we want to be able to access all of our presentations. We'd like to do some dynamic presentations. So, having animations, and just the ease of installing things like video clips and having presentations software that can bring your presentations to life.

                                                       Both Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides allow me to put presentations together so I can keep my team organized and up to date on everything going on in our marketing department in sales.
                                                       We like using Google Slides because it's easily accessible through our company email. It's a lot more user friendly and we can store all of our photos on Google Drive.
                                                       We like Microsoft PowerPoint because the templates are a little bit more advanced, so we can do some nicer slides in there for our presentations with our corporate manager, our company owner. Things that we need to do a little bit fancier, we'll use PowerPoint.
                                                       We really like it because it's attached to our company email. It's very easy to just log into my email. Everything is there. I can go back and work on a presentation. With Microsoft PowerPoint, we actually have to download it to our computers, our company computers, so it's just an additional extra step. And they both do the same thing, but like I said, Google Slides for our day to day is just much easier to use and we save PowerPoint for things that are more special.

                                                       I use PowerPoint mostly at home or with my church because it incorporates so well into our church software to set up worship slides. But at school, I found that Google Slides are better because we share everything in the school on one drive. It's available to all teachers and that happens very easily. In addition, there are some online programs I use to teach my students and the Google Slides will also incorporate into those, so I don't have to remake it.
                                                       I feel like Google Slides is best for me because of how easily it is to be shared with my colleagues and my co-teachers, and then it can be kept for year to year. Another thing that I have found so wonderful about Google Slides is I can go home, open it with any internet, and then I'm ready to continue working.
                                                       PowerPoint is best for me at home or especially at my church. I'm able to make slides so that the congregation can see the words or the Bible. What it's really good for is our worship software; it will incorporate right into it. I can build it in PowerPoint with all the nice features and incorporate it into our church service.
                                                       PowerPoint was pretty easy for me to get started with. It was something many years ago that I started. Any kind of presentation software was new to me, but it didn't seem too hard to do it, to add in animations and different features so that my audience could know exactly what I was trying to get across to them. Google Slides, on the other hand, was set up differently, but it was enough like PowerPoint that I was able to get onto it pretty easily. Another thing I found is the help feature is wonderful. If I wonder about what you can do with Slides or how I can do something to make it better, I can just click on the help button and it'll give me directions.
                                                       For presentation software, the most important thing to me is that it's easy to use. As a teacher, I have so many things I have to do every day that I don't want to spend a lot of time looking for how something works. Well, I have found that the help button is there, which is always something that I need. I need to also be able to find online tricks and tips for being able to use the software.

Both for the presentation and for note takers, but it specifically works well with collaboration, as multiple people can be editing the presentation at any time from any device. Microsoft PowerPoint is best used for presentations. However, it limits you to being on the same device that you started working on it and it's not collaborative. Both Microsoft and Google Slides are pretty user friendly. They are generic. It's pretty easy to get going and understand what you need to do. Sometimes the settings can be a little tricky, especially for Microsoft, but both of them are pretty user friendly overall. My top considerations when looking for this is something that looks clean, especially if it has a template that I can use for the presentation. I also consider the notes page; how that looks for the people I'm giving the presentation to, but one of my main considerations is the ability to collaborate, especially from working from home or multiple users need to build the same presentation together. The ability to collaborate on the presentation is really what wins me over.
