Pros
I loved the templates, functionality and the easy navigation.I loved the integration of audio & video on the presentation that was awesome.
The best and easy to download, makes presentations easy because slides are easy to customize, it's ability to print each slide directly. Has advanced designs and has multiple templates to chose from.
This software is versatile, making simple or complex follow along with slides with text and pictures to give the best learning experience. The clever infographics and videos are amazing.
Cons
The worst thing about PowerPoint is the lack of creativity in the included templates. They are very boring and repetitive.
There is not much I don't like about it except for the problem of it not being compatible with non-Windows systems. Errors often occur that corrupt files or the presentation does not display properly.
I am using PowerPoint for four years I did not find any flaw but there is one point on the products that suddenly they stopped working and I lost my files on which I was working at that time.

More Power to MicroSoft PowerPoint

Reviewed a year ago

Very Satisfying. I've still been using it since, more than 15 years since. So, I would still highly recommend MS PowerPoint even to my young kids. It is still able to do the job - efficiently.

Pros

- Ever since I've been using MS PP even in my high-school years. And so far, it is still my chosen tool for presentation purposes.- Audio and Video integration is a breeze. I have lots of fun tweaking this feature since I've used it.- Slides has just gotten robust over time. Now, you can insert images and other media files from the online repository - not available years and years ago.- User friendliness, is out of the question. Though, I advise you not to be lazy in learning things. On it's own, it's already easy to use. - It has other media integration too. Such as quizzes from Articulate 360 or Captivate.

Cons

- Bugs and glitches. Happens occasionally that ruins the ride.- Compiled files that needs to be presented outside of the home pc gets corrupted and non-operational. So, my suggestion, always bring with you the native files as much as possible.- Some of the templates might be boring for some, as it has not been revamped cohesively. You might need to squeeze-in some creative juices in some of your presentation projects.

Microsoft PowerPoint Benefits Review Report.

Reviewed 4 years ago

With PowerPoint, I was able to achieve and complete more projects about Solar Battery and Inverter Projects, it facilitates my work to insert more information with statistics correctly.

Pros

On PowerPoint, I can make some fun and pizzazz to my slides easier, it has a series of new graphs that facilities the representation, it's possible to establish a Youtube Video in PowerPoint Project and insert a Functioning Excel Worksheet into a Presentation, also I can convert a bulleted list to a layout (SmartArt). It's a creative tool.

Cons

Sometimes when we want to send a file, there is a risk to will be damaged by a virus. It is a project that has more presentation that distracts people by the number of movements and does not care or pay attention to the information that is being shared.

Useful tools for all organization like my company.

Reviewed a month ago

PowerPoint has become a cornerstone tool for our team in various aspects of our business. While we do utilize other complementary tools alongside PowerPoint, our team members continue to find joy and value in using this versatile software.

Pros

For years, PowerPoint has been my go-to tool for a range of tasks, including client presentations, creating mock-ups, and designing project overviews for my team. Its user-friendly interface and straightforward implementation make it an essential software for all members of our team.

Cons

One challenge I frequently encounter with PowerPoint is the rapid increase in file size, making file sharing difficult, particularly without using Microsoft's other services. Moreover, there are alternative platforms that offer easier and more cost-effective slide design options. Exploring these alternatives could provide us with better solutions.

Used Often and Incorrectly

Reviewed 4 years ago

Whenever someone sends me a PPT, I sort of groan. I may open the file and export it to a PDF to get a smaller file OR the PPT will be just a 1-pager from someone who is trying to show me a layout or concept of something. Personally, it would be faster if they drew it on a piece of paper and took a picture with their phone and send it as an image than to go through the trouble of using PPT for that. There...

Pros

It's the most widely used and available software (meaning so many people have it so it's likely you'll be albe to send/receive a file and open it. Using the Master slides feature which is where you can set and "fix" your logo in place to appear on each slide, have a variety of slide formats/layouts to choose from, and even set a typography stylesheet/style set.

Cons

First and foremost, the finished file sizes are always ridiculously large. This is a problem because so many people always try to email them and I find they either bounce back because they are too large to email, or I'll be out and if the PPT attachment does get thorugh, it's still so large and sort of clogs up my email and whatever is behind it. Secondly, I know PPT is meant to be a presentation...

Microsoft PowerPoint

Reviewed 3 months ago
Pros

As a tutor, what I appreciate most about Microsoft PowerPoint is its ability to enhance learning experiences and facilitate effective presentations for my students. PowerPoint allows me to create visually engaging and professional-looking presentations with various slide layouts, themes, graphics, and multimedia elements that capture my students' attention and make complex concepts more accessible....

Cons

One main downside of PowerPoint is that it can lead to passive learning. If it's used simply to deliver information without actively involving students, it can limit their critical thinking and participation. To make PowerPoint more effective, it's important to encourage student interaction, discussion, and hands-on activities.
