Pros
I loved the templates, functionality and the easy navigation.I loved the integration of audio & video on the presentation that was awesome.
The best and easy to download, makes presentations easy because slides are easy to customize, it's ability to print each slide directly. Has advanced designs and has multiple templates to chose from.
This software is versatile, making simple or complex follow along with slides with text and pictures to give the best learning experience. The clever infographics and videos are amazing.
Cons
The worst thing about PowerPoint is the lack of creativity in the included templates. They are very boring and repetitive.
There is not much I don't like about it except for the problem of it not being compatible with non-Windows systems. Errors often occur that corrupt files or the presentation does not display properly.
I am using PowerPoint for four years I did not find any flaw but there is one point on the products that suddenly they stopped working and I lost my files on which I was working at that time.

PowerPoint for presentation

Reviewed 3 years ago

May: My name is May, I am a teacher. I give Microsoft five stars. For reviews like this, please click below. I use PowerPoint for doing the presentations. Also, PowerPoint is very flexible and it tells me to add pictures in it. And these pictures are very important for the student. The visual is very important for them, and also it helps them to remember the lesson, especially the vocabulary, which are very difficult. And when I give assignment, they can use PowerPoint for a presentation. If it is online, it has a feature of audio in it and they can record it and I can listen to it. I like most about PowerPoint, the organization. And you can move from one slide to another, you can organize your idea. It is very important also at PowerPoint when you present in a conference to use it because it helps the audience to understand what are you talking about. And your subject is worth it. To give me more information, how to use features in it, maybe games. I don't know, I've never been able to use games in it. 3D dimension, it has, but maybe more developed ones, that can be helpful.

Patrick L.: My name is Patrick. I am co-owner of a coffee wholesale company. I give PowerPoint a four out of five. For more reviews like this, click the link below. Before PowerPoint, I kind of dabbled with Google Slides. It was fine. It just was a little bit too complex for me. I like the simplicity better of PowerPoint. Some of the reasons why I chose PowerPoint, for one, ease of use. You really don't have to be that tech savvy to understand how to do the basics of PowerPoint. The other main thing is just versatility of the program and software. You can use it among both Windows and Apple products and you can literally load your presentation onto a thumb drive and upload it onto any other computer. Getting started with PowerPoint was extremely easy. I really didn't need to know how to do much as far as tech stuff goes getting into it. It was pretty self-explanatory. I learned along the way. There's certain extra features you can use. Just overall was very user-friendly. I would say, when you check out PowerPoint, for one, just the user friendliness of it. The price point is great. And just the overall simplicity of it. I can't say enough how easy it is to use and the lack of tech knowledge you need to have going into it.

The number one presentation software package

Reviewed 5 years ago

I've created innumerable presentations for clients big and small. In my many years of using the product and sending presentations to people all around the globe, I have never once had someone tell me they could not open a file or report any problems with their presentation. It takes some practice to truly master, but once you've spent quality time working with the software you can do some good stuff.

Pros

PowerPoint is a straightforward tool for making and showing presentations with an interface that is very much "what-you-see-is-what-you-get." It is also the dominant presentation software, meaning that you will probably never find a client or venue that will have problems with any presentation you created in PowerPoint. It is also rather versatile, allowing users to do far more that slide-based presentations. Users can create online slideshows, clickable infographics, and embed original graphics and videos.

Cons

Like all Microsoft products, PowerPoint has it's eccentricities. It could be more user-friendly, which is where some of the competing presentation apps excel. It is absolutely not good for creating original art or illustrations, even though many users seem to think so. If you want original graphics then you should be creating them in some other app (like Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and then importing them into PowerPoint.

Pros

I have used this product for a long time. I remember it being one of my first editing software's for my videos.

Cons

Adding Large pictures could be a little easier than dragging and dropping. There may be a much faster what that I don't know about though.

Used Often and Incorrectly

Reviewed 6 years ago

Whenever someone sends me a PPT, I sort of groan. I may open the file and export it to a PDF to get a smaller file OR the PPT will be just a 1-pager from someone who is trying to show me a layout or concept of something. Personally, it would be faster if they drew it on a piece of paper and took a picture with their phone and send it as an image than to go through the trouble of using PPT for that. There are PLENTY of expert PPT users/designers who know how to either create a properly formatted template to use or know how to assemble a professional looking deck. These are always easier to work with but in the end, the files are way to large, 100% of the time. If the app was more intuitive OR there were better resources on how to use PPT properly for those who don't have time or can't afford to hire a designer to assemble their deck.

Pros

It's the most widely used and available software (meaning so many people have it so it's likely you'll be albe to send/receive a file and open it. Using the Master slides feature which is where you can set and "fix" your logo in place to appear on each slide, have a variety of slide formats/layouts to choose from, and even set a typography stylesheet/style set.

Cons

First and foremost, the finished file sizes are always ridiculously large. This is a problem because so many people always try to email them and I find they either bounce back because they are too large to email, or I'll be out and if the PPT attachment does get thorugh, it's still so large and sort of clogs up my email and whatever is behind it. Secondly, I know PPT is meant to be a presentation software and intended for "screen presentations" but because of this, what happens is that no matter what image is imported in (like a logo or a photo), it is automatically converted to a lower resolution image. This means if you try to print the presentation, any imported graphics will look 'meh' compared to the text. Third, and this isn't really the fault of Microsoft or PowerPoint, but I regularly see PPT decks that look like something the person's kid put together. Most often, this is due to the fact that the user doesn't have a full understanding how to use PPT, and this results in slides looking inconsistent from the next. Alignments are off, a variety of fonts get used, and it just looks like a draft instead of a polished "presentation". Fourth and lastly, it does not play so nice with Macs. It seems Microsoft went out of it's way to create a whole Office for Mac variety but didn't seem to do any full work on making sure it was fully compatible and played nice. It regularly loads slow, doesn't show things correctly, or just crashes (the latter is the most common).

Great and attractive offers.

Reviewed 4 months ago

The experience took place over five years. It was easy, enjoyable, and smooth to use, and I still use it on a weekly basis in various works.

Pros

What I liked most about the program is the way it presents business ideas and data on global platforms, to people, and to senior officials.

Cons

Sometimes, when transferring a file from one device to another, some of the funds are destroyed, and it is possible that the file will not be opened because the program’s software is installed on one version and is applicable to all versions.

Usefull Tool for all Teachers like me

Reviewed 4 years ago

Very widespread software. The look in the program is very familiar, which helps the user to navigate quickly, despite the changes in newer versions. The main panels are well distributed and work comfortably in the program. Storing the functions in panels gives a tight look and order. One sees exactly what one needs. I use the program to create presentations when I need a little more specific feature.

Pros

I like that the functions are also depicted with icons, which makes the use of the program possible by completely new users. This is also useful for those with experience in the program, because the functions are many and the pictograms are like little jokers for the function itself (you don't have to remember everything). The advantage is that the program has many different functions for creating creative and attention-grabbing content (text in various forms, images, insertion of video and audio).

Cons

The fact that the keyboard shortcuts are not listed. The inability to import gif files into presentations in an easy and convenient way. The disadvantage is that the package is paid. The inability to edit the finished file on devices that do not have the program.
