Better collaboration with Remote Teams. Communication is now instantaneous allowing rapid changes to Creatives and Code.
The ease of use and communication plus working simultaneously while "huddling" with coworkers on call.
Needs better integration with Microsoft Office and Google Suite and Libra Office.

I'll give Slack 4 out of 5 stars
Slack is a well-known program, that is useful for the team to work on real-time projects, develop new ideas, organize and allocate how to tackle a new task for team projects
for home office and remote work it is a really useful tool however within the office is not that effective

Easy to use, lot's of good features, very stable. The product design - channels, teams, direct messages - works very well for the workplace. Integrations are great as well.
Video calling can be buggy. Slack can generally get distracting at the office, but that's more of an issue for the office than Slack.

Not bad, but company ended up switching to MS Teams since it is included with Office 365
Ease of use with basic features. Functions as intended.
Requires additional software and charges unlike Office 365.

Love how much easier this makes it to communicate with people within an office or from a remote office to home office.
Implementation was pain. We wanted to connect our Slack account with another business and there is definitely a way to do that but it was difficult to find information about and to get started.

It was easy to use. Ran on all devices. phone calls were clear over cell and over wifi.
Easy to use and we had a easy startup. Not much training required. Works on all devices. Easy to transfer files.
It was not easy to integrate with Microsoft office/outlook. It was required to have a office online account. This prevented us from using meeting/availability status.

Can be very distracting at work if co workers go crazy with it. Besides that the tool is really helpful at work.

The chat features when added to everything else about Slack was great. It brought a whole new level of office community when we started using it.
That my new office no longer uses it. That's about it really. Teams does have some advantages in Office integration but I don't think they could do anything about that.

I love Slack. It's intuitive and easy to use but powerful at the same time. Yes, the fact that Microsoft Teams can integrate with the office suite seamlessly is convenient but I can live without that in exchange of a better and more reliable interface.
Great for working with distributed teams. Enables a digital workplace: people can feel as part of a team despite working remotely. Easy to use. Easy to organise projects into channels. Much better UX than Microsoft Teams.
It doesn't integrate with Microsoft Office like Microsoft Teams does (obviously).

Slack was very useful for organizing communication among a large group of people.
This is most useful in an office and professional setting. It's harder to use effectively for individual communication among independent contractors who do not have smart phones or a stationary office.

Good inter office communication.
Easy to use. It had good GUI interface to use for inter office communication. You can install on your mobile cell phone device.
History of slack is not very good to use. There can be an improvement in the are of history. GUI also can be improved from end user perspective.

It increases office production and morality, honestly. It keeps the office engaged and streamlines our questions and requests.
The ability to integrate other software that our company uses. GIPHY is also an amazing entertaining addition.
The data usage allot from the free version fills up quite fast, but other than that it is an amazing office tool to have.

Slackbot is very useful for timely reminders Jirabot for notifications is awesome Very good to use within small teams App is very easy to use
Chats are archived when the account is deactivated. Pain to get back to old conversations with the deactivated account. Asynch when created for large community Easy to get distracted with a whole lot of notifications

Slack is by far the best group/collaboration app I have ever used- it allows our team to share ideas quickly and efficiently, and has made our constant emails and phone calls a thing of the past. I love how user friendly it is!
None, we have had no issues and love using it in our office!
