Used mainly for personal production management, progress check-ins, and small group work.
I love making to-do lists to help organize progress throughout the day and through projects. Todoist offers a free version that includes the most important features and collaboration for up to 5 people. It is an excellent tool for self management and small group work.
Applying this app to an office setting almost mandates the purchase of premium or business level service. This expands group connections to 25 or 50 users for more comprehensive office integration. The climbing price tag for this service makes a good case for finding alternative tools for large-scale collaboration.

It helps to not keep post/notes its all over. Great addition to an office computer
The reminders on my desk top computer is really nice to have and easy to see and access.
It's kind of difficult to set new reminders if you are new to it.

Not only does this allow me to keep everything organized, it connects to my calendar and my dropbox! I love to see visuals of my progress, it definitely helps me stay on task and productive! It also lets me prioritize what needs to be done first, and it connects with people in the office so we can share tasks.
Sometimes it takes a little longer than it should to sync the data with the whole office, but that could just be where we are located and our internet provider.

I like the ability to set up list hierarchies, my brain just works that way. Easy collaboration between office members, especially if you're test-driving the product to see if you want to buy up to any of the higher tiers of service.
I just can't see enough benefit here to use this instead of something 100% free like Google Keep. Maybe if your office needs more powerful collaboration tools that would be a factor.

Todoist offers seamless integration for all platforms. I love that I can add a task on my iPhone and sit down in my office and it's on my Mac.
It isn't 100% intuitive when creating new task lists. There's some redundancy that makes takes confusing. I've found this depends greatly on how you organize your tasks

Templates creation is easy, and reuse helps to use the same workflow at different projects. Meeting agenda and project tracker are aligned with team goals.
Home functionality is good which can be used for local tasks. Switch to office purpose and re-populate the popular sections and sub-tasks.Delegate tasks and get notifications on priority.
Pricing is little high. Number of customers to accept this product are low. Not much popular among young generation.

Overall it has been a valuable tool for our organization to communicate and stay task focused as a unit
Todoist is a simple and convenient way for our office to be connected and focused on the weekly tasks that need to be accomplished. It is simple and relatively easy to use.
I find the search feature challenging to use at times. Sometimes we cannot located a task posting that was archived.

It was not as positive as I hoped, and I removed it from my computer. This software may be for some people, but I determined that it wasn't for me.
I really liked the concept of this software and being able to keep my to-do lists near my taskbar. Ideally, it's a nice way to keep yourself organized while in the confines of the modern office.
Considering the frequency of notifications, the build-up of old and new "to-dos" and all of the emails I was receiving, I determined that perhaps just using sticky notes may be the better option for me.

Overall, todoist has managed our workload and made convinience for creating tasks with descriptions and comments. With todoist we are able to schedule the entire office works, and able to complete the task in expected time frame.
Todoist is great task manager tool, with extensive features. I simply loved the NLP features, which allows to add tasks along with the details including tags, due dates and assignees.
I don't like the the way it handles the subtask. It priortize the indent things in main task list but often leaves the work to be done in subtask, even if I priortize it.

I was constantly starting a To Do list in the office but then didn't want to bring it home. I thought having a mobile app to help would be a good solution, but I ended up going back to paper.
I was attracted to a mobile To Do list that could be used across platforms. After downloading the app and setting it up, I realized that it was more work than it needed to be. It seems like a great platform for someone that likes gadgets, as you are able to use your lists on multiple devices - and you can share tasks with other users.
Honestly, I prefer the feeling of an old-fashioned To Do list. The app doesn't have the same satisfaction when crossing off a completed item on a paper list.

This site and apps are easy to use than other task based softwares
Easiest way to share task across our office and know who is supposed to be doing what. It also helps with follow up. I like that within a task I can create subtasks so that all the people can have different parts to complete
Nothing really, the monthly cost is very small and great for our small organization

It's great to use because you could sync your phone app, whit your computer app, and review calendars, but there's better than this, and for free. I stop using it, and after change my hole office to an Google kite, we use Gkeep for free.
The functionality of being capable to share my list with others, and share notes about the same list. Given us the chance to assign meetings to a calendar.
They keep you to use it, on the basic plan, if you what to use for work and be able to manage the conferences rooms and the showrooms schedule, you need to pay for it.

A daily driver for me that saves a lot of time and of course guarantees a free mind when you didn't forget day's shopping list..
A simple to use, feature packed to do list app that will be an immense help to keep things organized and all of the daily tasks ; from meetings, office work to shopping list kept orderly and not forgotten. Loved the cross platform support and very efficient and clean interface
Certain feature like reminders and filters are only available in expensive tiers. Integration with location service would have been a great addition

The ability to collaborate on a checklist with other people in the office has helped us keep track of what has been done and what still needs to be done. Each person has a few items on the checklist and being able to see who is responsible for each task and send them reminders is great.
Due to the fact that we have 20-25 tasks that need to be completed before each project starts, we group similar ones together under a main task heading. When the sub-tasks are completed, it would be nice if they disappeared and went to the completed task section instead of just graying out until the main task heading has been completed. This would reduce the clutter.

This software has been highly effective at helping me track not only personal tasks but organize business projects amongst a team that operates in a non-traditional office environment. By utilizing Todoist, we have ensured more effective tracking and increased our completion rate of tasks. It also allows for an easier sharing of information, allowing everyone to be informed.
Todoist is an excellent task management system that works well for both personal and business use. It offers the ability to easily organize projects and sub-projects as well as breaking tasks into smaller steps under one heading. It does take a traditional list format, as opposed to the visual card layout of Trello, but many people may find that they prefer this style. The following features are ones that I have found to be extremely valuable in my roughly two years of using this software: --Comments - the ability to make multiple comments on a task and even attach files has been great for both my personal and professional project management workflow. --Assigning tasks - being able to assign tasks to specific team members is great for managing complex projects and tracking accountability. --Integrations - integrations with popular services such as Outlook, Spark, Slack, Siri, Alexa, etc. make it easy and convenient to add tasks from anywhere. The ability to easily add an email is especially helpful. --Labels - the ability to label tasks and projects and then filter based on those labels is extremely helpful. --Natural language input - the ability to quickly and easily add a date, reminder, file in a project, or assign a person during the initial creation step makes it much easier to create detailed tasks. Overall, I've found this software to be useful and would highly recommend both the free and premium versions.
Sometimes, depending on the OS, the interface can be funky. For example, I find the interface for iOS/mobile to be slightly harder to use when it comes to easily rearranging projects/tasks or making comments quickly. I'd also like to see better visual organization in the form of custom icons for tasks. Though the ability to change colors exists, this often isn't enough during complex use. It would also be highly useful to assign tasks to multiple people or groups, instead of one particular person.

This is a great tool for managing one-off tasks. In my line of work, people tend to verbally give me tasks to do and it can be difficult to keep track of. Post-its and lists aren't very effective. This keeps everything all in one place and is easily referenced, whether in the office or remote.
Simple task management with no fuss. No need to worry about setting up entire projects if you don't need to do so.
Sometimes it is overly complicated for the most basic of tasks you need to input.

It's been a life saver and simplified by dual location work environment.
I've been a write it down on paper sort of guy for a long time. With the work at home split with at the office, that method has proved to be very problematic. I have re-trained myself to put all my to do's into Todoist so that my list is with me either at work or at home. It's been fantastic.
It took a while to adapt to the user interface. There were just a few moments that made me pause in entering information.

This is a great and simple tool to use for every day work life and it comes VERY handy during projects. I've used this app recently for an office renovation project for delegating tasks between people in my own department and external ones was phenomenal. Once a task has been assign, the assignee gets a notification and they are able to add comments and attach files to it as well.
So far no complaints. The android app can get a bit laggy from time to time, but nothing serious.

The app is very easy to use on both desktop and mobile. I can simply customize and add sub-categories in the tasks with features to set its timelines helping me foresee missed schedules through calendar alerts. As a person who always checks daily routines and regularly glances at the long lists of short-term and long-term goals/tasks from office to home, I find this helpful to stay on track.
There's nothing I didn't like about the App.

It keeps me attentive in the priority aspects of the tasks that I must accomplish, attentive to what my work team must do to achieve the company's objectives
It is a quite intuitive application, easy to use, multiplatform that allows me to organize my tasks from day to day and plan my week in an organized way, register all the information you need to fulfill what was planned for the day, It integrates very well to cloud services like Google Drive and Google Maps, or which is very useful if you have any meeting outside the office, has productivity graphs where you can observe your performance
It has all the basic tools, it could be improved if it added more features of advanced integration

I use Todoist to manage just about everything I do, in the office and out. I've found it is particularly useful for breaking up lengthy task lists into day-to-day chunks of activity, as well as for creating plans for long-term work that needs to be picked at over time. With Todoist, I find myself much less likely to forget tasks that need doing, and to approach my work in an organized, methodical fashion.
No exaggeration, adopting Todoist as the app for tracking projects, chores, and other to-dos had a profound benefit to my productivity. The interface is fantastic, and integrations with IFTTT, Google Calendar, and heaps of other software makes it easy to automate the addition of tasks to your list or schedule. The reminders, though, are what really changed the game for me. Being able to schedule reminders not only for particular dates and times, but for when you enter particular areas is an incredible benefit. For instance, it makes it easier remember to pick something up when you're physically at the store, or to check on the status of a project as soon as you arrive at work. Finally, the karma and productivity streak systems, for those who like a little gamification, are nice tools for motivating yourself to stay on top of things. Many of these features require or work best with a Premium subscription, which I endorse purchasing, but Todoist is also a great app as a free service. Try it out; you won't be disappointed.
The biggest issue I have with Todoist is that while the web and mobile applications are top-notch, the Windows 10 native app is missing features, particularly in regards to notifications. Sync is also inconsistent with that app. It's easy enough to get by without touching the native app, but I would love to see it fixed.

My experience with Todoist is the better I can think off. Off the top of my head, I use it for pending actions I must take like paying bills, shopping lists, bug lists (software development) and reminders.
I like it because it is simple, you have the web interface, the mobile application and the widgets (for Android at least). All the platforms are synced so you can create a task on your desktop at the office, then you check it with your smartphone later and so on. It is simple because you create a task, choose a due date and that's it. You don't need to spend time in a learning curve, just start using right away.
I don't think that there are many differences between the free and pro versions, so I prefer the free one. Maybe they can provide more cool resources in the pro version for a good value, or lower the price, to convince users to pay for it. I don't feel I need the labels feature.

Todoist is a great tool to stay organized and on track.
Todoist is such a great tool for basic tracking of your to-do list. It is very easy to use and so helpful to get reminders when things are coming due or past due. You're able to make sub-tasks within a task for more complex projects. Also a great way to help assign to-dos with those in your organization and keep track of their progress. Tagging/labeling is a great help in separating what tasks I can do when working from home vs. what I need to do when I'm at the office.
It isn't always obvious when you're assigned a task from someone else, it would be nice if those showed up in your main inbox.

- Amazing way to sort lists - you can have projects and labels (labels only available in the paid subscription). I am looking into the GTD model by David Allen and labels are used as "contexts" - meaning that I have things to do in certain environments or contexts. I have list for things I need to do in the office, or at home, or on the computer, or at the grocery store, or at my kid's school. Once you are in a particular context, you look to your label for things you need to do at that particular place - Projects are a great way to organize yourself, having the ability to see updates for a particular project is really convenient - A vast list of shortcuts to improve efficiency -Drag and drop features make it convenient to sort your lists/projects -Date reminder - as soon as you have an item to do and input a date/time, the app understands this and generates a reminder for the task at that particular date/time, which is really cool! -Sharing projects - if someone else has the app, you can share a project in real time - Can access the app across devices
-Dates - sometimes I don't want the date to be included as a reminder but the app always translates the date as such and would be nice if I could hit the backspace on the app and it would understand that it is not something I want as a reminder -Checklists - would be good if Todoist integrated checklists like Google Keep where you can copy and paste lists from a text message and Todoist would interpret each line as a separate list item or give you the option to paste it as separate items or one list

I have generally loved todoist, especially for being smart and easy to use. Give it a try and am sure you will love it
I like the app mostly for its easiness. You type a task and the enter button is just on your right, ready for entry. When you enter your task, the text field doesn't close, allowing you to enter multiple tasks until you finish, then enter again to exit. You'll then see your list of tasks well arranged in your widget. I like the widget in that your tasks can be marked done right from the widget, one task at a time. Time and dates are automatically detected as you type. For example, you may just type "new visitor coming at 5pm tomorrow" and todoist will pick the time and tomorrow's date and keep a reminder at that specific time, so convenient. You can create multiple widgets, each with its own category of tasks or reminders, for example, inbox, within 7 days, personal, office or any other category as you may wish to personalize. It gives you the freedom to apply color themes of your choice. You can also customize the way you want to be reminded by the app. Snoozing can also be customized. Your activities can be synced and be managed on different devices.
A space between tasks in the widget is unnecessarily wide. The widgets cannot be made transparent. It occludes my beloved wallpaper.
