Canvas X Pro is a technical illustration software, designed to help businesses across architecture, aerospace, and manufacturing industries create and manage complex technical documentation using photos, vector graphics, annotations, and text.
The software enables illustrators to create 2D drawings and manage raster images. Professionals can add labels, callouts, and comments to photos, measure dimensions, and focus on specific areas of an image through an annotation lens. Canvas X Pro lets users create designs from geometric data, adjust object’s numerical position, and utilize grids and guides to place objects. Creators can highlight vertical, oblique, or perpendicular distances and measure diameter, radius, or area in drawings.
Designers can use the software to explode or rotate 3D CAD models and utilize metadata to prepare bills of materials. The application helps import and modify different file created in several third-party platforms including PTC Creo, Catia, Rhino, and Revit. Canvas X Pro also offers a host of other features such as 3D CAD visualization, data import, automated measurements, word processing, document layout creation, and more.
