It is a good little program to get your feet wet on designing a home.
Wish it had more options, but I am only using the free version at the moment.

Wonderful. as I mentioned above the ease of use and the fact that I could create 3D floor plans to be used in a project so quickly, without hiring someone to do 3D work was great.
Easy, so quick to learn this tool. I needed a quick, easy program to learn and create some 3D floor plan graphics for a project. This is a great solution. I was up and running in about 15 mins and had my 3D floor plans completed in less than an hour. Great!!
I guess a con would be a lack of some features but for the price and what you get this is really not a con. Yeah, I could have found a more fully featured product but I needed easy and that's what DreamPlan is.

In my case, DreamPlan was UTTERLY DISAPPOINTING and a HUGE WASTE OF TIME. One of my worst software purchases ever. My best advice is that you try "Live Home 3D" by BeLight Software instead.* I regret so badly it wasn't my first choice, due to its higher price… It would have spared me all of that wasted time and frustration! * I'm not affiliated with BeLight whatsoever. I'm just a happy user. **Live Home 3D** does have its own quirks and learning curve as is inevitable with these complex prosumer applications, but it **works**, its features are on par or well above those of DreamPlan, it's polished, looks pretty and modern, it has more and better help resources, and overall… I, for one, am loving it! If only in comparison with DreamPlan, it's a way better choice, believe me.
Cheapest of its kind for me - because I found a heavily discounted license on one of those "software keys" websites.
• Whole subset of features was missing on my "supported" system due to some serious bug(s?). (This alone would grant my 1-star rating.) • Customer support was appalling; then decent but impotent (they can't fix bugs, obviously). • User interface is awkward, ugly, outdated and un-Mac-like.
