Compiling all project data in one place as a one source of truth

When you open a construction observation or any process it will open in a new window without giving you the option to open in a new tab.

Adding options is expensive for smaller organizations.

You have to monitor for basic functionality at least after each release; no channel based communication tools like Slack; no embedded electronic signature capabilities; they've jumped on the revenue bandwagon for adding on needed subscriptions for basic functionality, while not keeping up with where the industry has moved, particularly during the pandemic.

Also, When I print an attachment (and by print it can be show as a pdf or word document, E-Builder does not keep the name of the document and gives it a generic name.   If I have several of those PDFs open, I don't know which is which.

I like that it integrates with other systems I use, that it can be customized for my client, and that it provides good project controls across a portfolio.

As designer, I should review the submittals and RFis which were sent from many contractors. If i keep tracking E-builder, it is fine. But the projects are over 8 ~ 10 what I involved, I felt it is not easy to find and arrange the issues by dates and communication history.

I can state with confidence that e-Builder Enterprise has changed the game for my business based on my overall experiences with it.

The process of treating existing files is horrendous, takes so many clicks to do a simple action. If you have to manage thousands of files every day is not your product unless they upgrade soon.

I wish KCMO - KC Water give us access to TRIMBLE Viewpoint as well to keep industry trends in mind while performing our jobs.

Ebuilder has helped our capital asset's team track and manage all construction projects on campus.

That way, all users can view all projects without having write level access to all project files.

The way a new window is opened to start a process or look into a previous contract or transaction can be clunky.

e-Builder Enterprise's effective management of all papers, reports and project members' communications on the cloud allows all team members and stakeholders to stay updated and informed of the project's progress.

We can use e-Builder Enterprise to organize submissions, requests for information, meeting minutes, and much more, allowing us to work more efficiently as a team.

Changes are made by e-Builder developers who then update the client e-Builder platform and the updates "break" previously functioning aspects of the system (i.e. ability to upload files with comments to the submittal review process).

e-Builder is very comprehensive in structuring the functions and file storage to allow the user to retain needed documentation in an organized system while quickly completing processes necessary to manage the capital expenditures of a project.

The collaborative feature of e-Builder Enterprise allowed us to efficiently manage the project contract, save all contract documents in an organized manner, and retrieve them when needed, as well as generate status reports that show the status of all documents, what was answered, when, and who is still stuck.

We have to keep switch from one project to another and it takes time to get in the right project that we worked on it.

The initial learning curve is high but I think that was also encumbered by how the file system was set up by our construction managers.

KCMO - KC Water utilizes eBuilder as a requisite to access federal funds.

I use it to keep my records in a SAFE Depository for ever.
