Esticom has become an integrated Procure tool recently, however during the transition Procore users with non-profit or free licenses are not able to use the tool.  

I'm hoping that changes over the next year because this is the main function that Procore lacks and I currently pay for a separate third party app integration to compensate.

It works very well with the mouse, and it is web based so I could access it anywhere.

What I liked the most about Esticom is how easy it is to measure blueprints and download them with legends.

I can't go back to using Esticom because I found a software that saves me more time and is cheaper!

the time it saves when counting a a new project, its brillaint once exported and laid out perfectly in microsfot excel which is easy to then move around and sort.

helped save time within tendering and have given our Project management team a great overview of what is required and items needed.

Probably the estimating package but I think that was more down to me than the actual software itself which provided all the functionality that you might get with more expensive taking off and estimating packages.

Count fires auto count across multiple drawing has sped up the take off procedure, enabling us to spend more time estimating and putting costs to things than counting.

Cant change size of the point for counting items on busy drawing.

Electrical Estimator

More symbols that are specific to what will generally be counted in addition to those that are there such as a 'T' for Tees, 'B' for Bend, 'X' for crosses/intersections, 'R' for Reducers, 'E' for endcap etc. Also allowing options to fix the colours for a group of items.

The ability to make take offs from multiple documents/plans very quickly

For takeoffs excellent, for estimating i am still undecided, feels like some further development is required to make it more flexible.

Making take offs very quick and saves printing off drawings and cost effective.

i.e it has images on it and not done correctly at the designer end.

The support team are there around the clock and quickly get back and solve your issues or answer any queries you have.

Like how it remembers items i have taken off on previous drawings of the same discipline.

The load can take its time, but I know that comes from the drawings themselves, so technically it's not with Countfire directly.

They will try to fix your issue using Zoom or Teams within a few minutes.

Positive experience, fortunately I work alongside electricians who know the system very well and they have been able to help me get into the swing of things straight away.
