All information for each project is centrally located and is easily navigated. This cuts down on time locating files.
Specifically designed for a General Contractor not a sub-contractor like us. Sometimes it's very slow.

Easy to create projects and upload drawings. Procore allows me to swap project drawings to our foreman almost instantly when they change jobs.

It would be nice to assign only certain drawings to team members. There may be a way to do this but I haven't found it yet.

All of our subs and their foreman are using it. easy to coordinate on site with all of them and I pads.
No cons as of yet. The product is easy to use. setting filters for emails is a must, if you dont, you will get ALOT of emails from you to anyone that responds.

We use it because we have to in most cases, but it isn't one that I would choose to use on my own.
It is a common platform, so overall familiarity is fairly common.
Too much variation from one general contractor to the next in terms of settings.

This software has helped out on document control, access documents at the construction site very easy.
Excellent source for document control. User-friendly, Excellent mobile app source. Communication use for the team is excellent
Very expensive. Implementation of contractor contact list was difficult. Can only be accessed through internet.

love this platform, and our Procore rep is absolutely fantastic. She is always incredibly prompt in her response and very helpful. She has made our Procore usage exponentially better and deserves a shout out.
Tracking of all documents and communication, central location to store all purchasing and contractor information
sometimes some of the tools can be slightly unintuitive , but otherwise I sometimes receive far too many emails via Procore mistakes.

Not bad. If my GC did not require it to be used, I most likely would not have tried it out.
My General Contractor required us to use it. It was easy to follow and setup.
The number of windows I can have open was limited. You are not allowed to multitask with multiple tabs open.

I am ambivalent about this project as I am not extremely computer literate.
This is mostly used by the contractor to communicate with our company and send information.
It is hard to keep up with all the information because contractors send out blanket information to every sub on the list of a project.

Procore holds everyone "contractor, owner, architect, subcontractors" accountable. Procore organizes all of your paperwork for you.
Punch list tab is to slow. Daily log needs to be cleaned up so it can be read faster and easier. Weather on the daily log isn't always accurate.

You don't have to carry a laptop around with you, or a bunch of binders to organize your paperwork. Good asset to have for ease of foreman duties.

With what part of this program I use there is nothing I can say I would consider a Pros. Its nerve racking, frustrating, if there is any way I can avoid using this program I find it.
As mentioned before, just logging, and data entry, uploading documents is a project and a half, time consuming, end up calling the contractor and seeing how we can get around this program, half the time the contractor will do it for us.

The guys and girls over at Procore are great. Sales team and setup staff really make sure you know what the software has to offer. This is a great tool if you deal with large projects from a general contractor to a sub contractor.
The software at the time my company had tried this software did not allow for easy individual task creations for field staff. Calenders were hard to get to, and you had to export your calender for each employee in order to see their daily tasks.

User friendly environment. Broadcast abilities. from the Contractor, architects, owner and anyone else that we give authorization.
Nothing to not like. Procore has hit a home-run with all aspects of this software. User friendly is the most important.

They are always adapting to the construction industry and wanting to make your life easier as a contractor.
The schedule of values entry tab needs to be on the main entry page of the contract/ PO/ Change order so that you do not have to switch tabs to enter it then save it then go back and change the status and then email.

Overall it's a great tool for a General contractor to coordinate larger projects.
It helps you coordinate the project in a very efficient way. All the subcontractors on the project can see exactly where the project is up to and know of any changes immediately. It can be accessed from any devise which makes it very convenient to use.
It can get a little complicated sometimes and can take some time to learn about all the features. It does have an introductory video course but it's very long.

It's great to be able to access contract documents in the field (offline) so quickly. This will ultimately reduce printing costs once more field personnel get on board. Being able to show owner's the drawing comparisons has helped sell change orders to our customers. It would be great if they could integrate more subcontractor features and improve the integration with Spectrum (accounting software). Advice - get certified in as many training modules as you have time for and watch other users to pick up tips and tricks along the way.
Accessibility to contract documents Ability to compare drawing revisions Electronic daily reporting
Features for subcontractors are lacking compared to general contractor use Redundancy of RFI's, Submittals, etc. as a subcontractor

Procore gives us mobile access and quick desktop access to important plans and specs that our foreman and project managers need to keep jobs moving and avoid costly mistakes.
Procore is very easy to deploy and integrate with our existing systems and processes. The document tracking and project scheduling components are vital to our project success.
We find no problems with integration or getting new employees up to speed quickly with this software

The contractor for a project is using this software. For the most part it works OK. There are a number of things it does not do well.
Great for keeping organized about what is ready for review and has been submitted back to the contractor
In particular, the submittal review process does not work well. I can forward a submittal to only one person, I have a consultant that requires me to send a submittal to both the engineer and the support staff that tracks such things. Also the Procon software does not work with other software of a similar nature.

Contractor Foreman has been a game changer for our small business. We have used it for nearly a year now and it is easily implemented, easy to train using he videos of each module and the team loves its functionality. We especially love how all the modules are similar in nature, so it makes it easy to pick up new things quickly.
The software was very easy to use and implement. The tracking from bidding to project is easy to use. The built-in safety documents are awesome. The analytics provided are extremely helpful.
Nothing at all. The cost was extremely fair and is well worth the money spent! The cost for the software was about 10% of the cost we were spending on Procore.

I have been really impressed with Contractor Foreman. It is a powerful software and they have a great support team ready to help guide you through the setup process.
I previously used Procore; however, when I launched my own company I started looking for alternatives. That is how I found Contractor Foreman. It has just as much functionality for a fraction of the cost. It is also more user-friendly in my opinion and helps engage clients better.
I have noticed a few minor bugs in the mobile app and the user interface could be better while uploading photos.

This software is just as powerful as the big names (procore, buildertrend) and cost much less. Every month there's a massive list of new and improved features, and the product really does get better each time. I'd like to see time cards a little more user friendly as my hourly guys constantly forget to clock in and out, and it's a bit of a hassle to make corrections.
Extremely customizable, gives the ability to create either very detailed specific estimates (line item) or lump sum with a single click. GPS tracked time punches, group chat, real time photo uploads, customer portals.
Confusing and needlessly complicated time cards, gps only tracks at punches and does not ping employees, PDF estimates could be a tad prettier.
Thanks Paul for the awesome reviews. To help with time cards, we do have click-in and clock-out reminders. We also have the ability to automatically insert a break as well as the ability to clock out automatically after a certain amount of time. To enable these options, go to Time Cards > Settings. Thanks again and we appreciate your great feedback.
