Overall it is a great system,  they have an awesome trainer that will work with you until you got it. Customer service is also real helpful.

Occasionally when trying to switch between estimates or screens I inadvertently will hit the close window button which closes the program. On bad days this can really raise your blood pressure.

I have been using ProEst for the last year and have for the most part been very happy. The customer support has been very good.

However, if you like you can use simple unit takeoffs and apply a cost to them later. Proest can be as complex or as simple as you'd like for it to be and for the money, it's a pretty good program.

Proest has a inbuilt database and also you can create your own database  so that  you can use this again and again for your estimation in one click. This software is very friendly and  easy to use.

The home page no longer provides complete client contact details—only project information, without people or their contact info. Frequent 404 error messages and excessive system downtime.

Anybody can get a customer, only the best can keep them.

I would go home frustrated and felt like we made a mistake purchasing the product.

The fact that it is easy to customize the take-off settings and get a clear measuring tool when needed.

We are no longer able to populate the proposal to send to our clients who are expecting their bid today.

My overall experience has been wonderful. The Edge Estimating team has been more than helpful if we have ever needed any help with the Edge system.

Also, on occasion it will not show any errors but when you try and view the recap it will not let you saying there are errors. With all of that being said it is a minor problem for this software.

I've been Using The EDGE system for 11 years and still feel like it's the best software on the market. When packaged with a good digitizer it's well worth the price tag.

My day to day experience with the edge is very user friendly, I find myself being able to navigate with ease through the program and customer support has been good.

Some estimators work with us, a few time,  and they rapidly work and be productive with the Edge system. We work with the system every day and it's alway's great.

I enjoy the ease of use. I was a little difficult at first to get used to, but is a time saver.

Cost for add on's, lack of undo button and if you want to change a formula, its difficult to understand.
