I understand the app needs to maintain quality assurance and altering the app is difficult.   If Raken will add ADP API, Ad Hoc reporting and some minor app customizations my rating would go from 3 stars to a full 5 star rating.

I used Raken as a General contractor so I tracked reporting from our subcontractor who utilized the app.

It consolidated into one program that we could utilize for tracking job costs, work done, employee hours and materials used on the job.

The features they used kept me in the loop and allowed for update meetings to run efficiently.

you can' separate it into different segments. and when you are working on and off a project each time you move the equipment it creates an entry and make it really hard to track/ has too many entires.

The dashboard feature allows me to see what is going on with all of our projects.

Inputting notes and pictures now require multiple attempts, and the app often reboots and shuts off unexpectedly. Despite reaching out to tech support multiple times and following their suggestions, the problems persist.

Estimator Project manager

Did the designers creators behind it kept it for a lack of better words, looking rudimentary, like however, the functionality and what it produces is far from rudimentary very easy to maneuver.

Also, there are instances where Raken made a significant change to the app & didn’t notify their clients prior to change.  

Whatever the canned app has or doesn’t have will have to do because Raken will not cater to individual client’s needs.  

Weatherization Coordinator

Unable to integrate with other systems, the state required us to use their system and they would not pay for another system plus it would require dual entry.

Controller

Plans, daily progress reports and photos are easily accessible.  

Love that we can customize our cost codes and track prevailing wage classifications.

It is a great tool to communicate information across all levels of our team.

Everything from recording issues on job site and keep daily log for everything

It’s made communication and documentation much more efficient.

It's an okay system for timecards, however, you have access to everyone's timecard in this system.

My least favorite part of raken, is the delay between mobile and PC platforms.

We also have created customized checklists that we use for project initiation, preconstruction and progress meetings and punch list.

I like it other that It takes a long time for pictures to load on the app and on the desktop.

It’s the next step in evolution for both the construction and management whether that be from an office side or a site side

I didn't experience any cons as the GC who used their reports.  

Raken doesn’t cater to individual client’s needs.

The surveys are also very helpful and allow for easy to compute data being accessible for everyone to see.

One criticism is the need to have reports emailed instead of being able to just view them.

The constant rebooting of the app while trying to utilize it on the job site.

Sales make commitments that are not achievable. And there’s no response to “who can I contact to resolve this problem?”

So far Raken is what we were looking for to get away from paperwork and go digital.  

I love that all of our project information is in one spot.  

At times, it does seem to be a little pricey when adding a new "seat at the table."

There has also been a couple of hiccups that I have had, but they were definitely user error.[sensitive content hidden] in support was able to help me out quickly and above my expectations!

There's not much about the app that we don't like, however, we would not complain about a cheaper cost.

Our field guys are notified their time cards are ready and it is very easy for them to go in an approve.
