What is Roof Wizard?
Roof Wizard by AppliCad is a roof modeling and estimating tool for roofers, siding contractors, and estimators. Using the AutoCAD platform, the software caters to the roofing market by enabling contractors to model and modify projects without a construction design background. The tool can model 3D structures based on aerial images or PDF files. It can draft cladding or roofing proposals and generate cutting lists. Roofers can also send order forms and share fabrication details with suppliers.
Besides a wide range of roof shapes and angled structures, it can render 9 stories. The tool also provides tips for certain types of roofing that can be used with the waste-reducing Block Cutting feature. Using the contractor’s preferred calculation method, it also generates cost estimates based on no-frill builds and optional extras, like fall protection, wastage, and fasteners. Users also benefit from on-site and online training courtesy of AppliCad.
