What is SolidFace?
SolidFace is a cloud-based CAD modeling solution which helps businesses in the architectural, engineering and construction industries design models with 3D & 2D visuals. Key features include configuration management, data import, multi-part parametric assemblies, and in-context editing.
SolidFace includes a direct modeling feature which allows engineers to edit simple geometries and create complex and flowing surfaces. Users can also modify shapes through parametric modeling and update 3D simulations along with continuous geometrical changes. An exploded view helps designers arrange parts on a drag-and-drop graphical interface, letting them add, delete and align components.
SolidFace offers real-time collaboration, which lets project managers share CAD versions, and provide design access to vendors and customers. SolidFace allows engineers to modify/edit geometry during the development phase, as well as restore designs to their initial state. The platform helps administrators set or revoke permissions for viewers, track changes in design and control data access.
