Overall I do like Spectrum. I feel like there are areas it could improve in and that I could be made more modern/ appealing to the eye.

This software is very user friendly. The ability to export reports/data to excel is also wonderful and used almost daily.

Reports that come with the software are terrible. They expect you to pay for corrections to there reports and reports that come standard with other software.

It has great features, for the most part it is rather quick and all in all great.

One of the biggest problems we’ve seen is that the new Versions seem to be released before they are thoroughly checked, and there are repeat problems.

Posting errors for payroll (such as posting to the wrong job or equipment number) can only be corrected by completely voiding and re-entering the entire payroll.

Additionally, the price was a little misleading at the beginning as the implementation can be anywhere from an additional 50% - 100% of the actual software cost.

Mistakes can be difficult to narrow down. User stamps would be useful to track who is making errors so training can be done.

I like the powerful reporting capabilities, and the all-in-one use of the Spectrum. We are able to do AP, AR, GL management, job costing, billing, etc, all within the system.

What I appreciate most about Spectrum is the support that comes with the software. There is a network of other Spectrum users able to share experiences, tips etc.

There are several kinks that have not been ironed out yet, and the support staff is not quite ready for the problems the developers created in the new version.

Overall a solid product that I use on a daily basis. It gets the job done and I would recommend to others.

As a contractor that only works at this location for 3 days a week (not in a row), it makes it hard to take any of the classes as I have other clients I work for when I'm not here.

Integration with Procore was underway and then stopped, so we are trying to find other avenues to get the data from one program to the other without having to do double-entry.

The reporting function is limited if you don't know Crystal Reports, and the reports aren't consistent.

We have had very good experience with the program. The support is very good and the staff are quick to solve issues.

Went processing invoices, may lose a batch for no reason, then have to start over again. There is no way to retrieve the data once lost.

It’s fast, the pop up boxes help you code faster, the pointers on debugging are great, and it has many uses, but most importantly it fits my need of creating and testing java files perfectly.

There are system glitches and errors on a regular basis with little to no support.

I enjoy being able to create JUnit tests and check my code coverage through Eclipse (I don’t believe I had to download anything), as it was already integrated.

It can be slow at times and when changes are made, it is sometimes difficult to maneuver at first.
