Construction software 

I use this everyday to estimate drywall, ceilings, and paint.

A good product. 

Able to quickly estimate several project in a week. As well as accurately. 

Excellent tool for estimating and/or being able to confirm dimensions. 

I've never used a takeoff/estimating program before so I don't have anything to compare to. We are using STACK for a semester long project in our Cost Estimating class. Overall, I think it is easy to use once you have a tutorial (our professor went through the program with a STACK person). One aspect we didn't like was that we weren't able to use multiple users to work on a single file of plans (like having a network drive everyone can access). It made it harder for us to work as a team together when we could only use one user's account or use multiple accounts but not have the takeoffs all together. I do feel as though using STACK for our class will help in jobs down the road that may use different programs.

I like how user-friendly it is. When I do have a question about it, I love that you can easily chat with an Agent who is ALWAYS helpful.

Love the layover feature in order to do changeorders. Also love the ability to have many screens open for the same project in order to look at details.

Terrible abominable customer service, unethical, dishonest thieves. Manager was the worst, she uses dishonest interrogation techniques to avoid any liability, fault and to escape offering any refund.

I only used Stack for a couple of days, but I really liked the ease of the takeoff tools. It was very user friendly to navigate.

There also is no undo feature so when you make a mistake on a takeoff you have to delete it and redo the entire thing. There should be a ctrl z type undo feature.

I can easily manuever through plan pages to perform area takeoffs, set custom scales, print out reports with data and it is a great user friendly product. Integration is simple as well.

As we are primarily a Mac based office, this is great and does not require virtualization to run windows based software. Stack is also incredibly fast to navigate and bring up projects.

The product is user friendly. My rep was wonderful in helping us set it up and to troubleshoot.

A more troubling problem was the increasing disparity in spreadsheets from different estimators.

Overall a great experience. Enjoyed the interactive classes and found it very helpful.

One problem we come across when using B2W is if you accidently change a production rate or cost, there is no back button to undo the error.

If you are looking for a solid investment this is hands down the best tool to have.

I like the ease of use and strength of the program. The support is unmatched.

Great sub and vendor manager. I recommend going for enterprise - the extra features are worth it.

The customer service for this software is second to none. And in comparison to other softwares, this is super friendly.

Windows interface is user friendly. User folders are a great benefit to organize information.

The ability to reuse the templates for multiple tasks is very handy and we love the customization options available.

Chief Estimator

The customer service and online help menus are amazing. Everyone is willing to work with us to generate specific reports based on our company needs.

However, when you mess up, you have to redo the whole thing since there is no undo button. We have the maximum number of users for the base level but are reluctant to add more due to cost.

The software is very easy to use and the staff at B2W offer great support throughout the integration process and afterwards with any advice you may require.

The lack of keyboard shortcuts to navigate through the software.

Sr. Project Manager

In the end it is up to the user to determine how much that they want to get out of the system. You get what you put into it (if you put in a lot of time and effort your results should be great).

It's been fairly good, but the upgrade to Enterprise soured it.

Security - we have the ability to allow user different levels of access. Also, integrates well with our accounting system.

The initial set up is time consuming but well worth the cost.
