What is Ultimaker Cura Enterprise?
Ultimaker Cura Enterprise is an open-source software for the automation of 3D print workflows. The software can control multiple 3D printers and print jobs with the Cura Connect interface. Using the standard profiles and integration of CAD software, professionals can carry out the preparation of the print work in real-time.
In addition to the common formats of GIF, JPG, BMP, and PNG, the software also supports STL, OBJ, X3D, and 3MF. The key feature of the software is the open-source cutting engine. The application has preconfigured profiles for FDM (fused deposition modeling) 3D printers, so it is not necessary to manually enter several parameters. However, it is still possible to personalize settings. It is possible to choose from 400 settings for granular control.
Ultimaker Cura Enterprise provides access to the Ultimaker Marketplace, where verified plugins for 3D printing can be downloaded. CAD-plugin integrations are supported for Siemens SX, Autodesk Inventor, and SolidWorks.
