Using the badge printing system saved us a lot of time close to the conference, as we were able to focus on the last-minute needs of our registrants instead of printing/re-printing, stuffing, and shipping badge holders ahead of time.

Our attendees liked that they were able to make corrections to their badges prior to printing and appreciated how the printing speed expedited their check-in/registration process.

Unfortunately, the venue can charge an exorbitant fees for a dedicated hardline and power drops for the equipment, and you might not take that into account when signing up for this service.

Additionally there is no way to make any session selections time slots mandatory so registrants easily look over session hour options, or for multi day events, miss the subsequent days because they did not select each day through the small drop down box at the top of the page.

I greatly appreciate the seamless attendee experience we're able to offer our reunion attendees when we use Expo Pass.

There are several aspects of ExpoPass that needs to be corrected for Conference with 1000 or more attendees, CEU tracks, group registration needs, or multiple sessions offered simultaneously.  

This makes sense in a "Tiered Ticket" scenario but for CEU tracks that have the same value as General Admission tracks this is a complete mess, as groups like schools and Churches who need promocodes to register their groups will have multiple different track needs.  

Additionally the URL once opened does not indicate on the open browser whose sessions you're editing.   When working in spreadsheets you must be VERY careful to avoid mistakenly selecting Joe's URL when attempting to edit Jane's URL because once the URL is open it does not tell you whether you are looking at Joe's or Jane's session options and since you can't pull a report on those options mistakes are easily made.

Having to reboot the printer and trouble shoot many times, the router also gave us issues.

For example, hopping on a quick call to walk us through the process step‑by‑step would have been more helpful than written instructions, which still felt a bit confusing.

This is "rectified" in the exhibitor portion of the app, but even there exhibitors can add their own personnel, but none of that info gets to the User and thus none of their personnel gets credentials for the event.

They also looked into our event to ensure everything was imported correctly for our event, which was greatly helpful!

The extra work that it adds since all participants information does not transfer to expo pass.

The cost that comes with the badge printing service that is not paid to Expo Pass.

We were a bit nervous about how the badge printing process would play out in action onsite but never experienced any major issues.

The thing I liked least about Expo Pass for badge printing is that event users (ie staff) have to be put in duplicatively with another email address.

For example, if between 1pm and 3pm there are 4 workshops, at registration there is nothing that prevents a person from selecting all 4 of those workshops and registering for them.  

We contacted them a few times before the event occurred and they answered to our urgency within the hour.

Had an issue setting-up the registration form on the user website.

It used to be so difficult to set up for registration since I was never sure if it would connect properly, if things would print, how badges would appear, etc., but with ExpoPass, everything is ready for me when it comes!

Customer service was always available when we needed support, but at times I felt there could have been more hands‑on guidance.

I also wish there was a way to check if someone has checked in from the iPad!

For example, me as the client could not be registered as an attendee at my conference if I wanted to also control the data at my conference.

The remote setup call takes a while due to troubleshooting the printers, but overall, it is worth the time and the effort.

Additionally if you do see that box and move to the next page, it does not begin you at the top of that page, but rather in the same x/y position as the previous page.

On one occasion, I had trouble with a specific topic, and an ExpoPass customer service agent followed up by email with detailed, helpful information.

I have vetted other companies each year and none come close to the cost vs. what we receive.

For a multi day event, make sure to get the clear sleeve to hold the badges, as they do tear easily if your event is more than one day!

The thing that I liked most about Expo Pass, is the quick easy printing on-site for attendees and easy badge scanning.
