The platform is strong for managing party and group bookings, tracking payments, and coordinating waivers, which helps keep event operations organized.

However, during high-volume event days, some processes such as editing bookings, handling last-minute changes, and processing refunds can feel slow or overly complex. While ROLLER is a powerful system, certain workflows and reporting tools could be more intuitive and flexible to better support fast-paced event management.

Some problems with customers adopting the platform for features like updating payment method and canceling subscriptions, very limited reporting compared to competitor platforms, never really understood the point of the dashboard.

Certain tasks such as modifying bookings, processing refunds, or switching between POS and booking screens require multiple steps and can be time-consuming during busy periods.

Navigation, the fact you aren't able to put in card numbers for purchases, the fact when you reschedule if it's not the same exact price it doesn't still change and automatically send a payment link for purchase

Chargeback process and transparency, Limited possibility to adjust payment methods retrospectivally (SEPA payments), no automatic user log off for venue manager

Please provide flexibility for merchants who choose to remain on Legacy Checkout—either by enabling Price Rule compatibility on Legacy or offering an equivalent mechanism without forcing a full checkout upgrade.

Allowing guests to purchase and manage their own bookings has led to a noticeable increase in party sales, while also reducing the administrative load on our team.

The reporting tools are also useful for tracking sales and attendance, which supports better daily and operational decision-making.

However, we chose to stay, and are glad we did, due to the steady enhancements in the ticketing system, payment portals, and the increased engagement from our account manager, who has made a conscious effort to be present and work collaboratively with us on solutions.

The main thing that sold Roller to me was the ability to sell multiple sessions and still have the sessions in the "break time" up for sale, this opened our available sessions and instantly made a difference to our capacity.

Add on's for jump time and party packages make it easy for parents to know what we have thats an additional add on.

You literally have to export the report, download it, open in Excel (or similar) and add a Sum function.

The sales staff made promises the software does not deliver and I have not found the support to be helpful with any of the back office items I have brought to them.

Transitioning from one system to the other SHOULD NOT be as difficult as it was with C.E. Waivers didn't carry over.

The dashboard works well and the ability to update products, etc. works reasonably well.

Even after severe dissatisfaction they refuse to let us out of our contract for the remainder of the year.

The enhancements, updates and sharing the pulse report is very useful.

On the positive side, that original promise is still visible in the capacity management and price rules, which are genuinely good.

We have had a lot of connection issues and payment processing problems over the last year.

Sometimes for some hard use cases its not that easy usable. But most of the times, you will find a workaround to use it for such cases.

Unfortunately their software doesn't provide so many basic functions you'll find from other POS systems.
