Brightwheel is extremely user friendly. Staff to parent communication is so convenient and helpful for parents to know how child is doing.

I love that this software is mobile, offers billing as well as parent communication. My clients enjoy the timeline viewing of the daily reports.

Families are unable to save videos sent via app. The reports feature is very time consuming. The employee timecards and many other reports require you to change settings within your excel etc to view regular times, dates, etc. Reports have to be individually emailed to you to view. It is easy to use and parent friendly. I like that messages can be sent as texts directly to the parent.

Wish there was an ability to send pictures through messages. Also a way to find children who we have deleted but return to use months later. When they are added on our side as a new child, the parents end up with two accounts on their side and it can get confusing.

The ease of features! I knew everything that was going on with my child at daycare. Loved the alerts!

Not much to dislike, very simple application.

I really like the whole platform from getting pictures daily of our children to the ease of check in.

On a parent/teacher level- you have to login and out each time you want to transition from teacher to parent

The idea is great. Parents love seeing pictures and getting updates in a feed format. Great for messaging parents in a selected classroom.

There's absolutely no way to prep for the next school without the rooms going live and parent invites being sent. If a family sends a message, the admin must know off the top of their head which classroom the student is because the app won't take you directly to the message when you click on the notification. You have to use notes or allergies to mark food preferences such a vegetarian or vegan. When working on a desktop, there's are at least 3 extra clicks just to view a student's profile. Click on a student's name. Click Apply. Click again on the student's name. A lot of wasted time due to poor design. The Reports functionality leaves a lot to be desired. Toggling In or out when clearly a parent is trying to log their child out is superfluous.

Unable to see all diaper change updates at once on one page. Also, teacher to teacher communication within the app.

My only complaint is that it does not add up all of the students who are present total. You have to use the total from each room and add them together to get the overall total.

User friendly, parent friendly, aesthetically pleasing.

It would be nice to be able to send messages between teachers without having to go to the certain spot on Brightwheel in order to retreive the messages.

The timesheet, staff check in/out, and payroll is not easy to use and causes me more time on the administrative end. Tried reaching out to help desk but they only had one answer and basically said sorry, that’s your only option (and their solution was to give my entire staff admin privileges which is NOT an option in any business I know of)

I love how Brightwheel always keep notified our parents about everything we send.

I was hesitant at first putting my child into childcare but Brightwheel has made it so much better for me.. I can keep up with everything from teachers to the activity of my child at any point.

Its has no cons. Every parent should have.
