I recently switched over to Parent for managing our childcare admissions, and unfortunately, my experience has been satisfactory. While the software has some promising features, it falls short in several key areas, making it challenging to effectively manage our childcare center.

The layout is organized and logical, with all key features readily accessible without clutter.

For instance, it does not offer a customize registration form (they are working on it) making it difficult to register children into the program.

It also should have an ability to print out a weekly attendance list with names under the days Monday through to Friday, without all the extra information, so it can fit one A4 page (landscape).

For example, when we put the parent details in the software, there should be a tab where the child's details can be entered straight away instead of needing to click onto the children's tab and enter the children's details there, then you have to connect the families this way.

Having everything on one app makes it so much easier to stay on top of things and also for families which can see everything from their child's day to our QIP, centre poilcies etc.

The features that should be improved is the parent portal; allowing them access to add emergency contacts (with center approval).

Sometimes the educators lose their work if the app glitches if they are in the middle of writing an observation and it stops working, it doesnt automatically save to draft.

This issue could be solved by enabling by ises selection specific posts to play on a slideshow-like feature.
