What is Seldon?
Seldon is a cloud-based machine learning (ML) deployment platform, designed to help businesses manage, serve, and scale models in various languages or frameworks on Kubernetes.
Seldon enables DevOps teams to collaborate and streamline the process of testing, monitoring, and deploying models in a live environment. Administrators can use the dashboard to monitor the performance of models and debug errors. Model explainers can be used to adjust the features influencing the model, flag and detect any anomalies, and alert users about a potential attack. Being a framework-agnostic platform, it supports multiple ML libraries, toolkits, and languages.
IT teams can use Seldon’s custom resource definitions to manage model graphs and connect CI/CD tools. With its Alibi module, users can determine the predictions of ML models and inspect their performance with respect to concept drift and algorithmic bias. It also provides runtime inference graphs which facilitate deployments with experiments, ensembles, and transformers.
