ZapWorks is a dedicated platform solution designed to facilitate the broader adoption of Augmented Reality (AR) content creation. Its suite of online tools and SaaS-based pricing plans are deliberately pitched to meet the needs of novice makers at scalable levels from individuals, non-commercial users, businesses, educators to enterprises and app designers too. Promising an easier, entry-level approach with the richness of experience and robustness required, ZapWorks comprises the necessary authoring software for producing immersive and interactive short-form AR, Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) content experiences on handheld devices.

Supported by its own ZapWorks Studio IDE, content authors can manipulate genuine 3D objects and planes, using a live viewer to apply images, video and audio assets. Projects are then compiled automatically and published to the cloud, generating "zapcodes" that when scanned by compatible smartphones render the live experience on screen. Alongside browser support on participating smartphone models, Zapworks is also supported by a companion Zappar mobile app for native zapcode scanning and AR rendering on iOS and Android devices.
