The need to you different tools to do different analysis, all fund analysis is not available in PS, performance reporting, worklist an so on.

Its analytics are solid, its data is reliable, and once templates are set up, reporting becomes far more efficient. But at the same time, the platform can feel clunky and slow, and the interface sometimes gets in the way of otherwise straightforward tasks.

Sometimes it is not the most intuitive system and takes a while to load necessary information, but with the support of the Customer Success and Support teams, who provide step by step guidance either on a call or as a written guide, the queries get resolved quickly.

I often deal with bespoke mandates, composite structures, or client-specific benchmarks, and adapting the platform to reflect these accurately can be time-consuming.

The Presentation Studio is a particular pain point—it’s sluggish and not intuitive, making it tough for me to create specific charts without a struggle.

On top of that, licensing costs are high, and certain advanced features require extra modules, so the full platform can get expensive for teams.

As a Fund Selector and Portfolio Manager, I find unique tools and dashboards that make my daily analysis easier.

For example, in Bloomberg, I can type in a specific stock ticker and get weeks and weeks of news on earnings, upgrades/downgrades, anything you can think of to do with the company.

Asset allocation (MVO) and portfolio management capabilities are particularly useful when dealing with fund-of-funds and MPS/model portfolios.

However, there are occasional technical issues that can hinder productivity. Despite these occasional setbacks, the tool remains an essential part of my workflow and contributes meaningfully to the quality of my output.

I think the security against the loss of created databases should be improved, as losing important data can seriously affect users’ work and trust in the tool.
