Face Match overview
What is Face Match?
FaceMatch is a software development kit for biometric (face) identification that can be used to handle identify verification operations for KYC compliance and access control applications. Faces can be compared, recognized, and verified in less real-time. It is suitable for cloud and edge computing.
The Liveness Detector module prevents photo deception. It requests users to perform several poses such as smiling. The software checks a video sequence to verify that all actions are performed. Images can also be streamed in real-time to the module. A four-pose minimum is required to achieve a high degree of accuracy.
FaceMatch SDK supports OpenCL, which can significantly increase the speed. OpenCL can dynamically enable or disable at runtime. The SDK service is an HTTPS server and can be integrated with external applications and independent of any programming language. The heavy computational work is left for external processors within the infrastructure. Installation is possible on Windows and Linux through Visual Studio's C++11 compiler.
