What is iC3D?
iC3D is a packaging design software designed to help CPG brands, retailers, packaging designers, and engineers create 3D prototypes and virtual mockups. Administrators can utilize 3D ideation and production functionality to visualize bottles, bags, tins, cartons, shelf and more.
The application allows designers to modify 3D models, meshes, and surfaces with creasing or dents, import animation, edits, cuts, and artwork placements into designs, and generate shrink films for printing purposes. It offers a shelf visualiser module, which lets engineers create, visualize and compare several prototype versions. It also provides a UVW editor, which enables professionals to distort any artwork and reshape it to design 3D models according to requirements.
Other features include a 3D printer menu, animation, camera movement, dynamic backgrounds, labeling, collaboration, in-store competitive visualization, physics simulation, and more. Engineers can also utilize templates to create custom product shelves, shaped bags, and curved carton folds.
