There is now less clutter in our information thanks to this. During my last project, we migrated our paper files over here. Simple, straightforward dashboards have been developed using it. Now we can spend less time auditing and more time making better decisions. The ability to use wildcards in my bill search was fantastic, just as in Excel.

My overall experience with Sage Intacct software to this point is great.  I use the software on a weekly basis.  User friendly.  Great start off software for a small company that is focusing on becoming a corporate entity.

Everyone needs Sage Intacct

Overall Sage Intacct has been a good accounting system for our company's needs but it could be better.  I still research if there is a better system for us every time an Intacct does an update that breaks one of our processes.  This happens at least once a year and it takes significant amount of time to resolve.

Customer service is frustrating.  Have had issues setting up accounts.

Overall, Sage Intacct makes collaborative accounting easier and I would recommend to staffs with multiple budgets to manage.

The addition of Power BI integration and the ability to add custom fields to the vendor master and the 1099 information will greatly simplify our work, both in the present and in the future. We can generate a bespoke audit trail report covering all of our suppliers in one fell swoop.

Orderly maintenance of transactions with Sage

Sage Intacct is complete accounting software, it is cloud-based therefore one can access and work from any where.  It automates all accounting tasks including management of account receivable, account payable, inventory, expenses for small and medium size companies.  It is more demanding software because of financial statement and financial analysis features.

Sage Intacct

I have been using Intacct from the past three years for time reporting and expense re-imbursement at my company. My experience has been good overall with neat user interface and easy navigation through the website. It would take less than a minute for me to enter the timesheet every week.

User Friendly and easy to navigate

Overall the system is easy to use and they are constantly making improvements. They are also taking user feedback into consideration and implementing it into new updates every quarter.

Sage Intacct

My company switched from Quickbooks to Intacct in March 2013.  Intacct has greatly improved our efficiency and accuracy.  We did quite a bit of customization to make it work the way we wanted, but now have the ability to view customer orders in detail, learn which lines have been ordered, received, invoiced as well as lines that are waiting to ship and invoice.  On the purchasing side we can view the PO's for these orders and follow up accordingly if items are backordered.  We also have a third-party expense reporting system and can upload approved expense reports into Intacct for payment.  Intacct is linked to Salesforce and feeds customer transactions back to Salesforce so our A/E's have visibility as to where customer orders stand and can see customer's order histories.

One stop shop

Our experience is OK. We spend more then needed since we cannot remove international currency and we never even used it. Support is just OK, as we are always referred to long articles when we just need simple instructions. The system is mostly user friendly outside of reporting.

Sage is Essential to our Company

This product has been great!!

Implemented in 2013 and using 90% of available modules day-to-day

Intacct a mature, slick, and well-featured enterprise-class general ledger accounting platform. We have no trouble customizing and extending these workflows to create additional tasks. The "Performance Cards," which will appear at the top of a dashboard,  are fully customizable with ease ann give complete drill down capability. They are our execs favorite aspect of the platform. 

Another area where Intacct excels over most of the other apps I've used is in restating the books.For example, when reporting to the IRS, nonprofit entities often need to reorder expenses as Direct and Indirect. This depends on whether the expense is directly fund-related or a general overhead expense. Most vendors have separate nonprofit versions of their software that let you do this fairly easily, but Intacct makes it easy to do right out the standard box.

One major advantage of a SaaS app is that a true cloud-based app is accessible through a web browser. We use a Chrome browser with an iPad Air.   I find the navigation extremely simple.

The Best of Breed approach is ideal for us. It allows us to pick and chose the ideal solution for each aspect of our organization and align with products that focus on that need, not a one size fits all solution that forces adoption of a product with holes. 

Best of Breed, Unparalleled Reporting and Dashboards

I've been using the Intacct system for over a year to enter timesheets and expense reports and run financial reports. I've also obtained some familiarity with the invoicing capabilities. Overall, I find it easy to use, and am thrilled with its flexibility in creating program and project codes and customizing reports. The system I used prior to Intacct was not intuitive, but when I transferred to using Intacct, I quickly caught on and have had no problems obtaining the information that I need - in the format that I need it. My company takes advantage of the ability to create hierarchies in programs/projects, as well as the ability to customize reports to streamline certain project management-related tasks. I also appreciate that it is cloud based, although this seems to lead to a few quirks in time entry (small delays in loading task field options). The system I used previously only permitted a certain number of users at any one time, but I'm able to keep Intacct open on my computer all day long, and can enter time or expenses as they're incurred, and can run reports without waiting for software to load (or for people to log off).

Flexible and easy to use

-Item ID search is not good 
-When clicking into the fields it doesn't highlight the entire text string so it's annoying to correct
-Make it so you can limit which projects and products are selected by requisitioners
-Restrict Projects based on Product
-Tax and Shipping don't show product and project unless you click show details
-Ship-to field auto-populates
-Column showing date the PO was emailed
-When running a report for POs today (draft and posted) or when I select date range for just today, no POs are listed to email. When I run as this week it shows up.
-Convert doesn't work properly for certain users when they are in a transaction. Only on the transaction list
-How to reverse PO so we can edit if we want to
-Ability to search selectable columns when editing reports, creating roles, etc. As of now we need to look at every single selectable box
-Email Log- Show document number that was sent
-Email users when transaction is edited (so I don't have to ping them when the PQ is ready to convert to PR)
-Spend module doesn't capture capital expenses. Why, whats the point of advertising the product?
-Help screen doesn't allow users to go back

Overall, it has been a great experience. Support is excellent, and the company works to constantly improve the product and keep the features competitive with what's available in the market.

Have been on it since the start of the company and has worked great. Customer support is always there when we have a question and it serves our needs great.

The customizing of reports is great. The simplicity is nice and it's easy to navigate around and for the most part pretty easy to train on.
