There are also some minor user issues, such as the lack of particular worksheets, which force the user back on manual additions, such as W-2 forms.

In my experience, it produces very accurate returns. This ease of use allows me to spend more time where it counts, dealing directly with clients.

My company I work for uses this system for all of our payroll needs. I know the the accountant emails us our paychecks and we have a privacy setting so we cant get hacked into which is really nice.

This is endless so I will just list as many as I can quickly. By far the worst is support.

Also, the software seems a bit buggy. There are certain files that make the entire software crash when we go to hit print.

I use ProSeries Professional with other Intuit products such as Fixed Asset Manager in my daily work as a tax specialist. It is my long-term favoured tax preparation software for several reasons.

Overall we like Intuit's software product, but as our practice grew we needed a more fully integrated product.

And their customer service over the years has been amazing. I've used several other tax software programs over the years and so far, this is the best.

This software is very difficult to use and unable to handle complex business returns. In pro-series when you receive an error message Pro.

Our overall experience with Drake Tax has been wonderful. Once you get past the huge learning curve of the many options and “outdated” interface the software is an immensely powerful tool.

Great customer service, fairly easy to use and administer, diagnostic feedback and information is very helpful.

When I did pay, it created a new portal that wrote over my existing portal. I lost 7 years of tax docs for client who uploaded directly in the portal.

Drake simply says "error on schedule. Drake does not explain the error and at times Drake references a form that is not even available on the Drake software.

I like the tips and hot links that help you make decisions about tax returns. Also there are many features that help with filings.

So glad I listened to a couple of colleagues when they recommended Drake Tax.

Software is easy to install, easy entry on all tabs and workflow integration is great.

I love how easy this program is to use. I was able to sit down and start entering return information immediately without  much training.

The software is inexpensive and a great value for the price.

For the money, Drake Tax offers more value compared to competitors. It's certainly not the worst.

Navigation is cumbersome with multiple inputs needed for some tasks and other screens are hidden and have to be searched for so entries can be made and then some of the input screens are very limited.

So far the only thing I do not like is that I am still not a pro at it. I have to continue to look at the cheat sheet for shortcuts.

Drake has an ATX conversion program which I tried on 2019 and it brought over some large asset lists correctly so I took the plunge.

The built in integration with a document manager which automatically creates client folder structures when a new client is added is also handy.
