What is pfSense Plus?
pfSense Plus is a cloud-based software designed to help businesses prevent cyberattacks and secure networking processes using a firewall, VPN, and other tools. Supervisors can conduct stateful packet inspections (SPI), define time-based rules, and block web traffic from specific regions using GeoIP filtering technology.
pfSense Plus allows organizations to access dissimilar security domains and protect confidential information through SSL encryption. Managers can maintain a blacklist database of blocked IP addresses and utilize the layer 7 application detection technology to identify recurrent threats and minimize false positive alerts. It also lets users restrict or facilitate the bandwidth of internet services to monitor and regulate network traffic.
pfSense Plus enables businesses to automatically backup encrypted data and use the administrative dashboard to configure and manage user rights. Other features of the software include DNS forwarding, domain/URL filtering, usage reporting, simple network management protocol (SNMP) monitoring, and more.
