Overall experience with Workday Financial Management has been fantastic. Great capabilities that can integrate very well with other Workday modules.
Workday Financial Management provides a great P2P capability to organization already working with Workday HCM. This tool provides best-in-class functionalities that support financial and procurement operations.
The language, terms, jargon are very specific to Workday nomenclature rather than based on industry. Some concepts are quite unique and sometimes unnecessary when compared against a Coupa or other provider.

Overall I have had a good experience with Workday
Workday is an easy to use time management software. Unlike a lot of internal time management software Workday can be used through their app on your phone. It is convenient if something comes up and you need to make an adjuster to you work schedule on the run.
Overall I do not have any complaints about Workday

Workday Financials gave us much needed reporting capabilities that we weren't getting from other software. The fact that it integrates with our HRM system makes it easier to drill into certain data sets. Adding attachments to invoices and journal entries has essentially turned us into a paperless office.
Workday Financials is user friendly and has some great reporting capabilities. The interface looks fresh and it's easy to navigate. Each new release adds additional utility. The Workday Community is a great tool to post ideas and get real world advice from other companies experiencing the same issues.
Workday runs slow sometimes, especially on days when we're loading payroll and there's a lot of data going through the system. Sometimes Workday gives cryptic and seemingly random error messages.

Overall I have had a great experience with Workday Financial Management!
Do you want a one-stop shop for your financial needs? Look no further! This software is easy to use and can be effective in so many different ways. This tool has been invaluable to my business.
There is always a learning curb with new software. I was able to figure out a few of the shortcuts but it does take a little learning and growth.

I am very satisfied with the use of workday in our company.
It's easy to understand, and I do not have trouble finding what I need it. It is simple to use and effeicent for our personal management needs.
Requesting absences is not often a smooth process. There are often errors that pop up that are not accurate.

My overall experience with Workday is sometimes frustrating since I cannot get the reports I need to do my job. I work with the filing of 1099s for all the vendors and it's impossible to run reports with the information I need in order to report accurately to the IRS.
Workday enables businesses to view all their financials in just a few clicks.
Usually when a report is exported to excel, it's hard to view since the columns contain information that are irrelevant and need to be hidden.

Employees will accept having to use Workday to manage their taxes, etc. I'm not aware of an alternative for large companies. It will, however, be a perpetual pain point for employees.
Workday is used by large companies for a reason - companies with employees throughout the US or even internationally can gain immense value from Workday. It takes a lot of the legwork out of managing financials with large numbers of employees for the company.
The user interface for actual employees leaves a lot to be desired. Performing even simple tasks can take multiple minutes of digging through menus.

My overall experience in Workday was fantastic. I would recommend it to everyone.
I love the aesthetics and the ease of use. I am not a lover of numbers but Workday made it almost seem fun to do my accounts through here. It's easy to use, to track your finances and make changes when needed. There is no fuss, no hiccups, just easy and almost fun to use because it works smoothly.
Nothing. I can't think of anything to help improve this system. I love it.

Pretty good, however the points addressed as dislikes should be addressed as it would make workday more robust
What I like is the reporting options available in the financials model. It allows us to reconcile grant spending within the award management team along with the depts as all data points are in Workday. Users with the report Writer role are able to construct their own reports and schedule output for specific users as needed. Everything from award creation to sponsor billing can be done from one system.
There are constraints regarding billing for sponsors on grants for expenses posting outside of award line dates if the company is using a different system for timekeeping. There are also no award or grant compliance checks in workday leaving compliance auditing at risk

I think it will be a great benefit to our employees once we get everything set up as it should be.
Workday offers a huge variety of features and modules to tailor to almost any business model or structure.
Not all features are well explained on how to set up and implement. Implementation can take much longer than planned.

There so much that can be done and Workday helps to streamline many of our manual processes and workflows.
The system is difficult to navigate and things are are to find. The overall design experience could use some improvement.

An excellent solution to make all of those once tedious tasks much easier.
This product has made work in our HR space so much more streamlined. From talent management, to recruiting, to benefits and obviously, financial reporting internally. Budget keeping is no longer the massive chore it used to be.
Because Workday is a holistic solution for HR, there are minor limitations, but those hardly impact it's greater value.

We love workday. It is so simple and really streamlines the work process between employees and employers.
I enjoy that all of our employees use workday and it makes it very simple to approve their time, as opposed to having to check time cards or check into another account. You can do everything from Workday, enter your time, ask for time off, track employees time, send employee messages, check your pay stubs, see your benefits, and lots more.
I don' think there are really any cons! It is very simple to use, and is easy to access from a phone as well.

Great for jobs where you are scheduling a variety of users.
Workday is highly effective and easy to use. It is streamlined and user friendly. It's a very straightforward accounting software program.
You have to find a specific link for your company, and it can be difficult to find. That's the only issue.

Workday Financial Management integrates seamlessly with other Workday products, such as HCM and PPM. The software has great reporting capabilities. In addition, the software offers a range of security and compliance features in terms of data encryption and two-factor authentication, which help to provide greater security for sensitive information about your business operations.
The software is intuitive to use and I was able to create reports easily once I understand how the system works.
There is a learning curve to using the software when creating hierarchies for your chart of accounts before you can effectively create useful reports.

Overall I am happy with my experience using Workday. I love being able to go to one place for all my HR needs.
I love how Workday is my company's one stop shop for all things HR. It's easy to be able to log in and have all the important things in one place. We do our annual reviews here, our employee information is tracked here, and our training services are done through here. Prior to Workday, we used many different platforms - now we just have this one.
I find the platform can be slow, and the user interface is not very compatible with Internet Explorer.

Workday user interface design is super friendly. As the user with the rights for approving expenses to my cost center, I have no complaints. The process is straight forward, smooth, and the software feels robust and without any flaws.
The 'inbox' or 'archive' section can be confusing, but aside from that, Workday is top-notch regarding software for Financial Management and much more!

User of Workday, this could not be an easier way for a non stop shop for payroll/tax info, managing benefits and my calendar with time off.
Only con that I do not understand is in the iOS app every time you need to view your actual pay stub you need to 'generate' a PDF which takes ~5 seconds.

I really like workday for the ease of use, but also has a excellent interface to navigate all the features it provides with simple clicks.
Workday does an amazing job with a great interface allowing the user to easily learn the system while not sacrificing the work being done. Easy, affordable, maintainable.
Requestion procedures a little of a task, but manageable.

Workday has been the most enjoyable experience in my career. Nobody likes to fiddle around with software that looks outdated and glitchy when they’re dealing with their paycheck.
This has been the most intuitive software for entering payroll information and altering personal information for payroll as well. We’ve never had an issue with Workday and plan on using it forever!
The only difficult thing to figure out is how many hours you have for the week. Sometimes when you have holiday hours or vacation hours it’s hard to tell how many hours you actually have for the week without submitting it.

Absolutely love workday adaptive planning, has taken our financial and budget capabilities to a whole new level!
Workday allowed us to do all of our financial planning in one central hub. We can easily budget, generate financial statements, and run many different what if versions for all revenue and budget scenarios. Super user friendly for all planning options!
It was slightly tough to implement and get things started in the system, just very different than other financial planning tools I’ve worked with. Once you get it implemented, everything is smooth sailing!

An excellent tool for budgeting once you have put in the time to learn to use it, you always have the feeling there is more to the software than you know how to use.
It is super flexible, allowing the user to enter costs by category, department/dimension/cost centre and easily switch between views. You can write little formula to budget by run rate, uplift by a percentage or similar to prior year phasing. You just need to learn a few rules.
It does not interface well with Workday itself, there was no way I could import staff basic salary into AP from Workday by department and employee for instance.
