I spent days setting it up and then adding my customers and then getting them to enter their payment info and then creating their subscriptions and associating their payment method just for it to fail to charge and then block my customers from manually paying.

There is a steep learning curve to master taxes, templates, and automated workflows, and there were some corner cases on refunds that needed additional setup.

A kind to take away is that in the beginning it was a little difficult to understand the instructions to get the implementation started and the wait time to speak to a representative with a little bit longer than I like

Unfortunately, I was sold on Zoho due to being all in one but I realize I made a mistake as all of their new features are half baked, buggy, and somethings just make zero sense.

It is a great tool to track the data of what is hapenning in your business without needing you to personally do it every time.

I would just forewarn them about the wait time to speak to a representative.

Option to charge from estimate is not available, in India specially we are charging customers from invoice after GST regulations, to avoid GST payment before receiving payment, i would request Zoho subscription to allow this.

Irrespective of the situation and the urgency of a particular matter when speaking to someone you get the same generic response of we will get someone from technical support to look into it and contact you" the minimum this will take is 2 weeks.

Unfortunately Zohos inability to keep up with changing regulations regarding card payments means this service is no longer fit for purpose.

Its taken multiple emails and online chats for Zoho to May 9th to finally agree that they no longer support UK card payments (and they have no intention of doing so in the near future"

When it comes to subscriptions software, there are not many good choices out there, and the monthly cost is high and this is the case for Zoho subscriptions and it lacks many features available in other software for the same cost.

The non-API deployment is a bit limited in terms of collecting any customer information that's not part of the default data.

The "hosted pages" keeps all the tricky technical aspects including customer & billing info off of your application/site.  

It's easy interface. When a customer receives the subscription email and can easily sign up.

It provided a test environment identical to the launch environment so there was little in the way of post-launch bug cleanup.

Cons, they don't advertise a lot about their wonderful products.

It's extremely limited in what it can do, and the interface is a little clunky.
