You can put in treatment, and send a preauthorization, but when it comes back, there's no way to communicate what the preestimate states except going to hunt for it and looking at a little note you put in yourself.

The Routing Panel is one of Ascend's best features.

Ascend is easy to use, love the cloud feature as I can access it from any computer and get to work

The note that we set up for scheduling(i.e. provider request) does not pop up when the appointment is being made.

Electronic systems should make our lives easier not put us at a very risky and liable situation because of missing signatures and treatment plans etc.

Certain things are not as customizable as we would like ie: patient forms, text message communications

CBCT not included, redundant, changing providers, unable to select multiple things to change at a time.

Should have option for patients to automatically become inactive after "X" number of months have passed since last visit.

There could be better ability to input multiple family members with same email addresses.

The ability to delete any procedure (EVEN IF IT IS ON A PRE-D).

The clinical team has not been happy with the way the chart is and when you are placing the treatment and existing treatment in.

The accounting aspect was VERY difficult to learn.

Better communication among staff and between the office and patients over all our office has become much more efficient!

On the schedule if you accidentally click a random time slot it jumps to make an appointment.

Online scheduling never worked properly/ MANY ERRORS in scheduling/ double booking/ and we have now disabled.

For the cost and the ability to use my laptop and PC at home I would recommend it to anybody in the medical or dental profession

I would choose Cleardent over any other dental software.

Good practice management software, does everything you need, but there are other softwares that are more aesthetic, cost less and have better technical support. But it does work and it is a great product, I just cannot justify the price.
