Hi there—we are sorry you did not have a great experience. Server, network, and general IT configurations differ from practice to practice, and though infrequent, we have encountered troubleshooting that takes longer than average to diagnose the root cause. We hope there's an opportunity to continue working with you in the future.

We have gone paperless so patient forms and communication threw out our office are done threw yapi.  All consent forms are also done threw yapi.  Its simple to upload into dentrix threw the document center.

Overall the convenience of the program is ideal and it pairs well with our dentrix program. However the time that it takes to recreate forms to make them compatible is a major downfall. They are also not set up to communicate with our medical practice management and EHR program.

The software is user friendly and I love being able to request features to be added. Also, if I run into an issue, tech support is extremely helpful and eager to resolve the problem.

What I like most about Dentrix Ascend is that it is easy to use, web based so I can access the program anytime. They have a very good resource and support center to answer any questions I have.

This software does a poor job keeping track of overdue balances. This is something EASY to fix with automatic finance charges if patients do not pay.

The software is good and I like the product. It’s everything else that goes with it.

I love that we can login with ease from anywhere, it allows us to look at charts and complete tasks from any location.

Far better than DOX, it’s modern, easy to use and understand and user friendly. Rays are also so easy to take and transfer or make adjustments.

It is very detailed and helps keep track of the important highlights.

For the cost and the ability to use my laptop and PC at home I would recommend it to anybody in the medical or dental profession.

It was easy to learn how to use and not having any prior training  on it I liked the software.

The cloud based platform makes for a great integration between multiple locations. The interface is practical and laid out well (once your are adjusted to it).

The accounting portion was terribly difficult to navigate. Not at ALL user friendly.

On the schedule if you accidentally click a random time slot it jumps to make an appointment. It just seems sensitive to clicking.

Seems to integrate well with the computer and it’s nice having everything cloud based.

There are a ton of missing functions that impact us daily.

My overall experience with Dentrix Ascend is good - When we find a glitch or would like to see something change, we are able to get help from customer service quickly.

Switching primary and secondary insurance is very difficult and time consuming.

Besides being a very helpful platform for us,  Yapi's customer service is fabulous, every person I have asked for help from has been eager to help and always friendly.

All the staff I have spoken to on the phone for training have been very helpful and pleasant. He did most of the training sessions and I have had to email him questions here and there.

Fantastic way to have a paperless office. I love the fact that it replaces many other types of software and programs under one program.

Yapi is the perfect way to get our new patient information electronically. The patient reminders are great, they save us a lot of time with calls and no shows.

The few things that are missing are Knick knacks.
