Having previously explored earlier accountants packages which were always focussed on commercial needs and  very restrictive in their application, MidexPro in contrast proved highly flexible and it was easy to define templates which suited one's personal needs and in build detailing particularly relevant to the medical profession.

Having previously used DGL, Meditech, Meditex (fertility), Semble along with a range of other systems, this is the best overall system I have used and offers the least downtime.

I have used this software from its inception when it was still an accounting package.

You are unable to set a manual due date for invoices raised that would allow you to generate an accurate report of out standing accounts.

Help and support are excellent for both simple and complex queries.

It does everything you need to enable you to run your private practice with ease.   If needed the support team are absolutely fantastic and always there to help.

For the admin team, it is secure remote access enabling smooth practice and patient management. Although we already had Midex before the COVID pandemic, it enabled us to continue a seamless service for our patients.  

Once chased the invoice 'drops off' for a period of time and will appear back after eg 8 weeks if still outstanding.

Learning a new system, being used to NHS hospital systems, this is very user friendly, easy to navigate around and I love the fact you can email patient letters straight from their record.

The support is generally immediate which is so valuable.

It is a great system and I wouldn't chose to go over to anyone else as I feel majority of needs are met and if they are not met then the team are open to any suggestions to add to midex to improve it.

would like to be able to have multiple consultants to be added to patients file.

I have recently moved from paper diaries to midex diary which again has made life easier.

This issue has arisen from the supplier MidexPro use, it is not a MidexPro issue.  

The staff are friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable

Excellent overall, helpdesk are always very helpful and it does not matter how silly the questions is!

I find Midexpro very easy to use and is quite intuitive

It is quick, efficient and easy to use.

Many of the features I do not use and it can be a little clunky at times.

Its ease of use - being able to manage everything in once place and I am constantly learning new features and having already used it for 3 years learning even more things is great !

A few time I had to check Stripe payments directly.

We had many problems initially setting up MiDex as we are a fairly 'unique' business set up.  

The only thing I don't like is the fact that if I am not using it all the time during the day, it signs you out, which can be annoying if you are on a call to a patient and have to sign in again.

MiDex worked very patiently with us whilst this was being set up and was a big learning curve for us and MiDex.

Slow to load sometimes but I think that is to do with my internet supply!

If there has to be anything at all it excessive mouse clicks to access new letter for example and other requirements which I think is really due to being a safeguard for us but really this is nit picking.
