Escapia is an excellent product, it's complete vacation rental management software with great trust accounting.

The templates aren't the most beautiful things and we don't have enough flexibility or control.  

Being a small business owner and having to learn the majority of the 'nuts and bolts' in Escapia in order to run the business I will outline a few that I like about Escapia.

The only challenge with Escapia is occasional software updates that may affect functionality and existing data.  

The review section, it doesnt allow me to send reminders or review requests.

The integrations with Airbnb and bro are very well done.

Some of the features feel like they require an in-depth lesson on; but Escapia University classes don't seem to cover every topic. While support is helpful, they can take a little while to reply and it'd be nice to have a more built-out help center with DIY articles.

Our account manager [sensitive content hidden] has been great and always gets us answers and keeps us abreast of advancements in the software.  

Customer service in the accounting area can be challenging to achieve as Tier Two must receive a message to assist, yet rarely call back however email their response.

The support team is super helpful and our account manager has always been a huge help and an avid cheerleader of ours and our business.

Makes accounting for owner statements a breeze.

Owner's reports and revenues are better because of escapia.

My biggest challenge would be the lack of history it reports.  

The software is very easy to use, and its in constant improvement to cover all the needs for property managers

Having worked with many Property Management Systems over the years, they all have their upsides and downsides.  

No PMS is perfect though given how different this industry can be based on location, size, management styles, local regulations etc.  

Would be good to get a heads up on outages before we figure them out.

Trying to teach staff how to do these processes is quite complicated.
